Why do a large majority of NSB posters never give credit to British fighters...?

I agree, some Americans are too hard on UK boxers. But I think really knowledgable, true boxing fans can evaluate them without prejudice. I never judge a fighter by his nationality. I've never been to the UK, but Joe Calzaghe is one of my favorites. I've never been to Australia, yet I'm a big fan of Kostya Tszyu. I've never been to Mexico, but I'm a fan of Margarito, Mijares, Monteil, and Soto. Haye seems to have less class than British fighters such as Eubank and Calzaghe, he's difficult for me to like. You judge fighters by their skin color FACT.

They need someone to root for, hell they bum off welshman Calzaghe. I think people will have hurt feelings when I speak with my opinion. Because britain pound 4 pound produces a hell of a lot of talent, some fighters are overprotected but I agree with most here you can filter out the educated fans from the...well I think you know. Having spent a lot of time in both california and england, I can say that British fighters can have padded records but thats only because the general competition is not as good as in the US and mexico and going to fight in another continent as a young guy can be risky for any fighter, but that doesn't mean there necessarily bad fighters or hype, just unproven at the very highest level. On the flip coin I think US fight fans in general are ignorant towards fighters not from north and south america. Thats basically where the problem is.

I hated David Haye ever he bad mouthed Calzaghe. I'd understand if David Gaye respected Calzaghe, but he just attacks Calzaghe. And the hilarious thing is that Calzaghes resume looks like hof material compared to David Gayes. Sorry, I'm still mad that David Gaye didn't lose yet. The klits will be the ones to ko this kid.
