I didn't think Johnson was active enough to win the Dawson fight, however i scored it a draw. I don't think Dawson did too great in that fight, it looked like he was picking and choosing his rounds to look good in then giving Johnson the rest because he looked tired in quite a few. Plus he got wobbled a couple of times.
I'm a little surprised the Tarver win is dominating the voting so much to be honest. I would have gone with Johnson after Adamek and then it would have been a toss-up between Harding and Tarver. Harding and the significance of Dawson's win over him at that time might be a little underrated.
I have no idea why Tarver is leading the poll either. My first pick is Johnson, a close second is Adamek, 3rd would be Harding, and I'd place Tarver at 4th.
I do find it odd how in the after math of Johnson Dawson loads of people inc; the loser of the fight, was calling for a re match. It's faded a lot but some still want one, even though they realise Dawson probably would win clearer now, for having learnt from it. Yet with Hops folk only really called for a rematch when Hops is suddenly still elite again.
I had Johnson winning by one round on first watch but I sense watching it back I might score it a draw perhaps. I find it odd saying it, but I guess Johnson was his best win.

I was going to vote Adamek, because I don't feel Chad actually beat Glen (I had it a draw), and Adamek was an undefeated Champion....but Glen Johnson is listed as a "W" on his record, no matter what I personally think about it, and Johnson is a greater win by my estimation than Adamek.
Adamek was Dawson's best win. Johnson and Tarver where both in their 40's
and most think Johnson beat him.
Do they? I'm not so sure about that. Definately most of the knowledgable ppl I know scored it for Dawson.
I agree though about Adamek being his best win. Chad was super impressive in that fight.
I had the same score.
I had it a draw i didnt mind Dawson winning but i thought the scores were a bit out, Johnson was the best fighter he has been in with but his best performance's were against Adamek and Tarver.
i scored dawosn-johnson for dawson by 7-5 and i picked that.
dawson was under pressure and was hurt once in the fight. he overcame adversity and didnt fold and showed his skills.

Most of the ppl that think Johnson won most likely only seen it once, and or did not score throughout the whole fight and Chad getting stunned stayed in their heads. A couple my friends admitted to me after watching the fight again changed their decision to Chad. I also noticed a couple Calzaghe fans recently claiming this just to discredit him. Not saying they can't feel that way but there could be motive.
I thought Chad definately won the fight. It is another case of ppl forgetting the first half of a fight. Similar to Floyd-Castillo. People seem to forget that Mayweather nearly swept the first half of that fight. I feel that Chad built up enough points in the first half of the fight to get the win. I would like to see Dawson rematch Johnson though, I think he would beat him far more decisively in a rematch.
Most definately huh? It was a very close fight which most people scored for Chad. Sure there were some close rounds there that could have gone either way but to say Johnson "most definately" won the fight is ridiculous.

I voted Tarver as he most definatley lost the Johnson fight.

Depends on if you prefer either of the 2 former ring lhw champions with resume or young undefeated champion.
I think it is a pretty interesting question which is why I started the thread. Personally I voted Adamek but I could see a case for any of them to be honest.
