Lol at Roy making a beat with the speed bag. If the stamina is there this could be a very long night for Joe. Side note: I hope for Joe's sake he doesn't put both his hands down and sway his shoulders like in the video. One of the best defensive fighters out there in Toney found out the hard way that's not a good idea.
lets hope he does...wouldnt mind a sucka move from his game cock again

I just noticed Joe puts hes hands down to hes waist and does a little sway everytime he finishes up a combo.
oh well i guess Roy is a little more 'proven' in fights
Not in his latest fights, or have 'Y'all forgotten'? ;)
Just kidding guys. Actually, Jones does look very sharp, but, the problem is he would always look nearly as good as this. This is training guys, they do this every day and have done so for their entire lives. They're always going to look quite similar to what they did just now.
The only thing I find a bit strange is the amount of Calzaghe's posturing. He doesn't usually do that in training, even in his open sessions that I've seen. He seemed much more laid back and content to train in the previous ones I've seen, not go all rapper-homeboy with the hands down and shite. I don't know, I have a big feeling that Calzaghe has massively underestimated what Jones still has left.
In a recent photo of Calzaghe I saw, and don't forget that this is only a week before the fight, he was looking bloated and actually the fattest I've ever seen him, training or no training. I have some odd feeling that they simply think they are going to cruise into this fight without an actual fight! I'm getting a little worried for Joe to be honest. Though it will be fantastic if Jones can pull this out. Jones has had his time though, and if Calzaghe loses this fight his entire career will be looked upon as BS, so I would like him to win simply because he actually is a very good fighter deserving more recognition than he gets, whereas Jones is already considered one of the greats.

Joe looking sharp throwing more punches in the rounds and generally having more movement. I think RJJ is awesome, but if we are going to compare how boxers look in training, then its probably taking it too far. They wont be training on saturday night.
RJJ is undoubtedly absolute class, but Joe is not going to stand there and get hit. He learned a lesson against BHop that anything less than 100% will see him on his ass. If they are going the distance, its Joe. Joe cant knock anyone out any more because of his hands and this reflects in his work rate, fitness and game plan. For RJJ to beat Joe, he is going to have to stop him - and yes i know he is capable, but Joe DOES have a great great chin and much underrated, overlooked.
It will be quite a fight as both will come and fight, no doubt about that.
Roy looked very sharp and so does Joe but i think Roy is gonna pull the upset. He is moving good there i think if he fights moving back and setting traps and then explodes like he did with those hooks Cal could be in trouble. Peace
on a side note watch how many times Cal walks foward with his hands down in the Hopkins fight, Jones is quick enough to catch him. Peace
Jones Jr. Rap Video
I have two things to say, I was in a sparring session last january and ruptured my right bicep, I had to get surgery to pull the muscle back down and re attach it to the bone. I can tell you from experience that it was extremely painful, (just imagaine your tendon ripping off your bone that is connecting it) so I guarantee Roy was a little hesitant to throw the right hand.
Heres a video to hype up the fight a little more for all my Roy Jones Fans...
