I had never heard it, but there was a poster on another board who would bring up Ali's stance on interracial couples and how they should be killed. The way I look at it is, even if he did say something like that he did it out of youthful indiscretion and lack of wisdom. I think many of us have said or thought things when we were younger and looked back upon them and thought "what the hell was I thinking". Difference is, Ali was on a world stage. The Ali of the past 25 years is much different than the Ali from the turbulent 60's. I agree, the nation of islam has ali thinking some crazy shit and doing basicly what they wanted for him to do. As mentioned there the ones that told him not to be friends with Malcom X, when they were good friends. He was a follower. I remember reading also that Alis parents wanted him to distance himself from his parents but the nation of islam wouldn't all him to speak to his parents or they did there best to distance himself from them.

If you read Fraizers autobiography, or see some of his interviews. He's always said that Ali didn't have to treat him as he did and wondered why he did so whey they were already guratnteed the money for the fight. Frazier hated Ali, i hear they are friends now but Frazier say what Ali did hurt him and his family even his sons would have to fight because of the thing Ali would say about Frazier. Ali did used to call white people white devils yet, they loved him so much, weird. The nation of islam robbed him blind, i've read where they used to take a portion of his earings in every fight. That when he was broke or close to broke no one came to see him. And its true, Ali was a jerk but most of us are, Ali just happened to be made on tv, repetadly. And Ali i've hear him say, how he could be all the heavyweights ever, even though you'll hear him in some interviews be a all nice. Im sure he didnt' say a nice thing about Louis from that video, as Louis wanted Ali to go to the Army.

I also thought the site was quite odd after reading some of its content. Linking Tyson's fall from the top to Ali is a bit of a stretch.

i know..............what do you think? There was just another thread on here today about Joe Calzaghe and 23 reasons as to why he isn't great. Like that, this goes to show that people interpet things to suit their own agenda's. Most mature, objective people will scoff at the ridiculous reasoning in the Calzaghe thread, as they will scoff at Ali being the Devil. Its almost comical how some people will try and twist something that is right in front of you and crystal clear.

Ali isn't "retarded", he just can't speak very well. Frazier and Ali were rivals but they were still able to respect each other. Before and after interview: Ali turned his back on Frazier and made America hate him too even after Frazier had helped him out. His kids even got harrased at school and called monkeys. That's funny they would put Joe Louis admiring Ali in that clip. If I was Joe Louis I wouldn't have done that especially after he called him a nobody and an "uncle tom".

who cares? Frazier got the last laugh anyway. He still has all his senses intact and Ali can barely speak and is pretty much mentally retarded. Ironic isn't it?
