Tyson wins all 49 fights in the first round
Maybe if he was going through LaMar Clark's "resume", aside from the Ali fight of course.

But we do get to see Tyson defend his title against a guy making his pro debut.
And we get to see Tyson fight Tom McNeeley instead of his son Peter McNeeley.
This is a tough one ! I wanna say yes cause his prime he seemed unstoppable and he was my favorite boxer of all time since I started watching boxing! But what needs to take into consideration is early in his career he was carefully matched Rooney admitted this as did Atlas ! During the old days they fought all the time (most of the fighters )! Could an old veteran like Ezzard who had over a 100 fights figure him out ? Or Walcott ?
People rip on Marciano but 49-0 is still an accomplishment ! Also I believe the Ezzard would of beat a Berbick or a Bonecrusher smith ! Or The ol' Mongoose would've ate Spinks for breakfeast ! Basically Tyson didn't have a real tough heavyweight division himself ! Holmes was done past his prime ! So I'm gonna say no !
I agree with this, Tyson would probably be able to but you never know with him.
Was the pay good back then, would money and bad promoters get in his head?
Probably. The guy with the best chance of beating him would probably be Walcott.
With Tyson, though, you never know. He was a head case, maybe he self-destructs in that era before getting to 49 wins?

Im not confident of this but i have heard from a lot of old timers that most of the fighter Marciano beat were past their prime. Also they were fighting 4-5 times more then he was. Are we taking this into consideration, or just name recognition.

Agreed, Tyson was not nearly as consistent as Marciano.
But if Tyson could somehow fight 49 fights in his prime form (which lasted about a minute ;) ), he would beat all of them.
Walcott has the best chance but he was getting up there in age when he fought Marciano and wasn't able to move as well as he did in his prime (against Louis).
Big George knocks out Tyson.
Here's a video I made of champions of the era, maybe it'll make some people appreciate the fighters Rocky beat a little more (or less):
