Well ortiz wouldnt really bring anything to the table, Unless he was the mandatory which i doubt at the time.
Aside from his match with Margarito, Williams has been a protected fighter and lately he has continued this trend. Seriously though all the guys in the list and so many prospects are protected its what I dont like about boxing.
It's good, in some way. They need to fight some decent competition, but don't throw them right in the lions den... Look what happend to my boy Vargas.

what about victor ortiz? since hes getting some spotlight now, let him step up in competition...

Man I went for Berto, even though all of these guys on this list are pretty protected. The reason I chose Berto is because he has a strap and is now talking about moving down to 140 so he doesnt have to fight the bigger guys at 147. (I actually think this is the right move for him - now lets make Berto vs Judah happen!)
berto should be a man and fight collazo. he knows that fight is a straight L on his record...
dont get me wrong...i think JCC jr has a lot of promise but he's been WAY WAY WAY too protected...if he keeps this pace and this quality of opponents he's going to have triple digit number of fights and like 3 losses...
he has to slow down the number of fights and worry about quality of opponent rather than the quantity.
im sure they will mix him in with other top propects soon enough.
