Mijares, R. Marquez and Cotto move up to 7, 8 and 9 respectively.
Calderon rejoins the list at #10.
Pavlik is completely off.
I guess The Ring isn't buying any of these excuses coming from Team Pavlik.
Cotto still the better fighter and have the better resume. and have won titles in 2 divisions.
He still got crushed pretty brutally. His face was swollen and bloated and bleeding. He had nothing left and was cut, bleeding from the eye mouth and nose. Margarito left no room for interpretation of who was the better fighter. It was not even a come from behind KO. Margarito was ahead. No doubt, a great, incredibly brave showing from Cotto, but he was beaten down by a BETTER FIGHTER, not necessarily a FASTER fighter, or a SLICKER fighter, but a stronger, tougher, BETTER one, though a little less skilled than Cotto.
Cuz cotto is the better fighter and he still have a better resume than Margarito. Now let me ask you this, if DLH beats Pacman that means than DLH will be the #1 P4P?
That is a different situation altogether.
I am a Cotto fan and I don't particularly like Margarito but I don't think I could find a way to put Cotto ahead of him on a p4p list right now.
I also like Calderon but I don't think he is top 5 p4p either. Pacquiao, Calzaghe, JMM, Hopkins, Vasquez, Mijares, Margarito at least should be placed above him. It is also debatable whether he is ahead of the likes of Wladimir Klitschko, Chad Dawson, Paul Williams, Miguel Cotto and a few others.
I would have both Cotto and Calderon in the lower region of my top 10 right now, perhaps even right on the edge at 10 and 11 or around there.

margarito demolished cotto, he's the superior fighter regardless of styles
I havent been following these rankings. Marquez was moved to second after the Casa win? That's a bit much, no? If anything Calzaghe's win looks even better now right?
I P4P ranking should look something similiar to this, I think
1.Paquiao
2.Calzaghe
3.Hopkins
4.Calderon
5.Juan Manuel Marquez
6.Cotto
7.Vazquez
8.Margarito
9.Rafael Marquez
10. Mijares
What a ridiculous list you have there.
If Joe beats Roy and De La Hoya beats Pacquiao, does Joe get top spot?
I don't think Pacquiao deserves to lose #1 if he loses to DLH. He is fighting a guy who is way bigger than him at a weight that is significantly above his actual division. I would say officially he might lose it though (with the Ring that is).
i like the current p4p list. pavlik i would rank him 11 right now.
his loss was just to one sided...if he had loss but on a competitive fight, the he would still be top ten on my list.
1. Juan Manuel Marquez
2. Manny Pacquiao
3. Antonio Margarito
4. Cristan Mijares
5. Izzy Vasquez
6. Miguel Cotto
7. Joe Calzaghe
8. Bernard Hopkins
9. Kelly Pavlik
10. Arthur Abraham
Junior middle Winky was a pound for pounder.
Middleweight Winky was not as good but still a pound for pounder.
170lb, fat, 35-year-old Winky? I don't think so.
He was still ranked #3 after the win over Quartey.
controversal loses!!!!!!!!!!! he beat tarver and winky back2 back both were on the list..then lost to the #2 p4p fighter than beat the hell outta the undefeated middle weight champ who was on the list..why wouldnt he be on there???

For me it goes
1. Pacquiao
2. Calzaghe
3. Hopkins
4. JMM
5. Vazquez
6. Margarito
7. Mijares
8. Williams
9. Calderon
10. Dawson
The last 4 can be changed around some will disagree but that's the way i see it for now IMO.
these rankings suck any way.the funny thing about that list is, they're like 4 match ups on that shit with which pretty close, and imo should be bunched in together.
For me its:
1. M. Pacquiao
2. J. Marquez
3. J. Calzaghe
4. B. Hopkins
5. I. Vasquez
6. A. Margarito
7. C. Mijares
8. R. Marquez
9. M. Cotto
10. I. Calderon
