Cotto or Pavlik ! Who will bounce back better ?

Cotto will be fine.....Pavlik is RUIN.....Hopkin wrote the book on how to beat him and as long as Pavlik keeps Loew....the book will be a best seller. He will beat the Rubio's of the world but not the Abraham, Calzaghe, Dawson & Hopkins of boxing. Palvik is not ruined baby. because if this two (Bhop & Palvik) fight at 160lbs division probably Bhop has no chance in winning the fight. While Cotto was totally ruined by Margarito. that's why he is the one to bounce back stronger because He was dethrowned. while Palvik is still a champion at 160lbs division.

I think it's a wash. Cotto was much more competitive, but then he got the living hell beat out of him and quit. Pavlik suffered a beating, but at least he hung in there. Both of them are young and they'll both be back, but I think Miguel has more comp at WW. And Kelly still has his two titles.

Cotto will bounce back and have a successful 2009! But Pavlik will never be the same - he's ruined psychologically. He'll have nightmares about that fight for the rest of his life. No baby, Palvik was just beaten down at catchweight of 175lbs division. and he was not KOed by Bhop, while Cotto was ugly ruined by margarito at his best weight Division in11 round TKO. Palvik will still be the best palvik at 160lbs Division.

Cotto is a better fighter with skills, i believe he can come back from a KO loss.

Pavlik got his ears boxed off, but Cotto got the fight beat out of him. He has the longer road back.

pavlik and cotto will both come back strong. cotto will beat everyone 154 down except for williams/margarito pavlik will dominate 160 and reign both guys are in their 20's and they have one loss... of course their coming back

Cotto. Cotto lost in the fight of the year in perhaps one of the best welterweight showdowns ever. He went down on his shield. And he's still better than all of the other welters out there except for the man who beat him and maybe Paul Williams(Hey HBO, how about Cotto-Williams in early 2009?) Pavlik just lost a shot at getting the only real superfight for him on the horizon. Abraham-Pavlik will be a good fight but its importance is diminished after the defeat. He was utterly destroyed by a past his prime 43 year old. He has shown that he is one dimensional and can't fight when someone gets on the inside because of his lankiness. Cotto's defeat came after a war, Pavlik's defeat came after a one-sided ass kicking by a middle aged man.

I think Pavlik. 160 Pavlik is unbeatable, his physical goods are real good. Cotto was more competitive but literally got the fight beaten out of him. Cotto looked like a beaten dog, Pavlik looked like he just took a spanking from his daddy.

No one has the movement and counter punching ability to work Pavlik like Hopkins did. Not at 160. Pavlik will bounce back stronger because he doesnt have the competition Cotto has. Every one at 147 is bigger than Cotto, and it's just deeper in general. Where as Pavlik will go back to a weak division where he is the strongest/biggest fighter. Abraham is really his only challenge, and it's an even fight.

I have a feeling Pavlik will better. Cotto's supposed to have a rematch next year with Margarito, and I think Tony kicks his ass again. If not, Cotto's still in a tough division. Pavlik can go back to 160 where not only is he more comfortable at, but no one like Hopkins there. The division is weak. He can continue beating down guys at middleweight.

I think they'll both bounce back strong but I give Pavlik more of a chance to clean out his division, but that's mainly because his division is definitely not as deep as Cotto's. But we won't know until they get back into the ring.

Pavlik owns the Middleweight division. He will go back down to 160 and beat Arthur Abraham. Hopkins threw everything he had at Pavlik at 170 and he took it fine never looked like he was going to go down. He's also bigger than most at 160. Maybe he should think about moving to 168 lbs after beating Abraham? That's a division i can see him ruling (after Calzaghe has gone of course)

I think they will bounce back good enough but Cotto's will be the hardest because of the competitive division he is in... But he is also de better boxer of the two so Cotto is my choice.

Who did he beat at WW, lost to Oscar and beat past his prime Pernell. After that did nothing who didn't he fight at welter? tito fought everyone who was anyone in the 147 lb division.
