Overall, his excitement level is alright. Not boring, but not especially exciting either.
Quartey: 2 excellent rounds, the rest of the fight was slow paced with little action.
Carr: pretty good fight.
Trinidad: mediocre fight.
Coley: entertaining beating.
Mosley 1: excellent fight
Gatti: entertaining beatdown.
Castillejo: boring fight, though not Oscar's fault.
Vargas: excellent fight.
Campas: so-so fight, just target practice.
Mosley 2: so-so fight.
Sturm: everyone remembers the bad decision, but this was actually a good fight.
Hopkins: so-so fight.
Mayorga: entertaining ass-kicking.
Mayweather: so-so fight.
Forbes: so-so fight.
He wouldn't be where he is now if he isn't. Of course added to his marketable appeal. He may not be the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be like my av haha...but like my av he can make his opponent look good and brings the best out in them.
People don't like Oscar because he acts a certain way, who gives a F**K. The man is a beast in the ring and always puts on a show and is very exciting to watch him use his combination punching to the head and body. Very fluid fighter when his punches get going. Always like Oscar as a Fighter, don't care how he acts as long as he puts on a show when he fights.
Hes the biggest draw for a reason, his fights are always exciting. If he wasn't exciting to watch, no one would pay for his fights. He reminds me of the Pac Man, doesn't matter who hes fighting in the ring, he always brings excitement to his fights.
Im still hoping Pac wins , so for now F U OSCAR!:boxing::boxing:
How can he not be exciting? He only fights top caliber fighters, has a chin, great power, and great speed. Most fighters would kill for what he's got. It's just that image that people can't see past.
Oscar is simply too much of a cheeseball to like.
Who did he manage to become so corny? and being as game as they come in the stark, sobering context of a boxing ring.
It's ****ed up. Oscar freaks me out.
yeah Mayorga did'nt look so tough when he was getting hit with every punch in the book by Oscar
Oscar is deffo to much of a nice boy but he got some balls inside that ring and knows how to throw his fists about

great post.
even though he is supposed to be the 'good' guy its hard to like him, the act all seems so contrived/fake
he's money hungry and fame hungry and there's a lot of self-interest with him

Ike Quartey
Luis Ramon Campas
Arturo Gatti
Hector Camacho
Rafael Ruelas
Jesse James Leija
Shane Mosley 1
Jorge Paez
Some fights were great, but for the last few years I don't care for Oscar at all. I certainly wouldn't place him in my top 20.

Hell yeah, that ****a could fight. His personality is just soft.It comes across weird, but don't get it twisted he can K>o u easily....Mayorga fight ring a bell...VArgas....PAcman?...next.
He should've been more appreciated, he's very skilled, has power, speed, chin. When he was in his prime used to be way more exciting and shouldn't be accused of ducking someone.
