Alright Boys and Girls. 2 Day Countdown until the fight. I am officially in fight mode!!! Sorry Kelly, it's been a great little run and I rooted for you (and boldy predicted a KO) against JT the first time out, but you have finally met your match. B-Hop is going to pull out all the stops for this one. The crafty vet will confuse, frusturate and then execute the Ghost this Saturday my friends!!! Don't worry Kel, you will have a successful future at Middleweight where you can clean out the division. Just beware of craftier fighters like the Winkster and Calzaghe...
As for B-Hop, unfortunately last time out, I fell off. My appologies to Bernie, but my presence was not felt at Planet Hollywood that fateful night. Our lucky streak from when I was at Tarver and Winky ended as a result. I was no longer around to scream in the judges ear evertime B-hop landed a counter, slickly weaved or slipped a punch, or did something brilliant that the average KO-seeking pugilistically ignorant boxing fan or judge often fails to see, especially when distracted by innaccurate, flailing slaps.
But don't worry Hops, I will be there Saturday! We will be victorious. Show some love to Ol' man Popkins folks!!! LETS RIDE....
after watching the b-hop weigh-in, I am more hype than ever. **** these white supremacists. they boo the Executioner, they boo phily, wtf?!? no respect for a legend. i hope b-hop puts kelly to sleep and sends these mother****ers back to ohio where they can **** up another election.
"Bullseye Ghost." " I play darts, yay" Could these lanky white boy be any cornier? 1. 1-2. oh no, look out.... 1-1-2. Gosh. How will B-Hop ever figure this guy out?!?
This guy has me convinced.
I disagree with him about Joe not winning any of the first 8 round against B-hops though that's just silly.
But it's true Kelly Pavlik ain't no Joe Calzaghe, Calzaghe is a wily old veteran who shortened his punches up midway through the fight just to get through on Hopkins and went through plans A,B,C to edge it. Pavlik is a wrecking ball.
I agree. I respect his opinion but I don't think there is anyway Hopkins won the first 8 rounds, and I'm obviously a big Hopkins fan.
I'm not totally sold on Pavlik yet and I think it could be exposed that he's not the fighter that many thinks he is. Thus far as faced the right type of opposition for his style so I'm curious to see how he matches with someone who brings the type of craftiness of Hopkins or Calzaghe . It's a just a question of how old Hopkins will be in there. Don't get me wrong, he's a good fighter but I'm not convinced that's a great fighter yet. If I'm wrong I'll give him his due credit.
Gamblers advisory on youtube is picking Hopkins by clear decision. I don't think he's gotten a pick wrong yet. I'm not as confident as him but I hope he's right!
I remember he picked Calz to win a SD against B-Hop.......he's good man!
how do this cat always get shit right:lol1: I hope his streak doesn't end now:lol1:
hot middleweight prospect, nyc-native danny jacobs (10-0) will be facing someone (likely a tomato can) and could also end up on jones/calzaghe undercard. he won the open golden gloves at 165 a few times.
also this from espn....
"The rest of next Saturday's undercard includes Steven Luevano defending his featherweight belt against Australia's Billy Dib and Mexican middleweights Marco Antonio Rubio and Enrique Ornelas squaring off in a title eliminator.

That guy in the video simply knowz his boxing. Still I believe that age isn't being taken into consideration by many.
This guy already has a solid bias in place. He mentions right off the bat that he and his people hold Abraham in higher regard than Pavlik, which is a fair opinion but there is no solid evidence to back that up.
He then goes on to talk about how much better Calzaghe is than Pavlik.
Fair opinions, but the kind of pure speculation and bias you cant count on in a bet.
Execution time!!!
I really hope he comes out to the Ghostusters theme song!

That's so badly done it's ****ing awesome! LOL.
And Ghostbusters? That'd be the perfect track.

I love Hopkins, one of my favorite fighters of the last generation, and I have rooted for him every single time out.
Unfortunately his time has come, the man is simply too old and cant throw enough punches anymore. Kelly Pavlik is the new champion of the MW division, and he will prove it in a bitter sweet performance.
I'm watching the Trinidad fight right now and damn what a masterclass performance. For a guy with no real exceptional physical traits, he was truly the complete fighter in his prime. I would love to see one last great fight from the Executioner.
That fight is the epitome of good boxing. The B-Hop that night was unbeatable, his most hungriest and the most focused he's ever looked. The executioner that time would out box kelly to a decision.
