Who would win a Cotto-Margarito rematch?

This has been talked about since late July, and I still don't see how people think anything would change. Cotto didn't make any mistakes he could correct. In fact he boxed damn near flawlessly in the 1st 6 rds. Problem is Marg is too goddamn tough for him to KO, and he ain't got the endurance to move all night like he was tryin. Cotto will get KTFO even worse in a rematch.

margarito is to big for ww so of williams .... so that make it a unfair fight on my eyes.. cotto can win but got hit a run 12 runs and if he want hit the body he got throw a 1,2 jab combination and finish with strong body shot (and that kinda hard to do for to long)

How did his nose get broken? You make it sound like he walked into a door leaving his dressing room...lol Cotto can make all the adjustments and calibrations in the world..he'll still be an overrated eyebrow-plucking dwarf. Margarito broke his nose but if he makes the necesarry adjustments he will win the fight. By the way you do know that Cotto is the same height as Mayweather right? so that makes Mayweather a dwarf also?

I think if Cotto can make the right adjustments he can beat Margarito. What do you think the right adjstments are?.. Im just curious. I thought he fought a perfct fight. Cotto just got tired and margarito was just to much.

Miguel Cotto fought a great fight and with the right adjustments he will beat Margarito to the punch, his stamina was affected because of the broken nose and the constant bleeding, without those factors Cotto wouldn't have gassed out. People act like Cotto is a one dimensional fighter, but the truth is he is a great boxer that's why with the right adaptations and adjustments Cotto will win to Margarito which is really a one dimensional fighter that only has a great chin. I have Cotto winning by UD.

If he learns to clinch after those accurate flurries instead of using his legs so much I think he wouldn't tire out in the later rounds. I'd say Cotto wins the rematch. He has the tools and he proved he can fight according to gameplan.

he can try to figure out a way to hammer the body, something he did very little of in the first fight. i agree cotto neglected the body work completely because tony's head was wide open .....i belive if cotto would have gone to the body all the clean shots he landed to the head would of had more effect...he would also need to have better stamina he ran out of gas late in the fight.

I just don't get it when people say that the result will be the same or Cotto won't change. He'll have a tune up fight and an entire camp to plan it out. The point is, fighters can and do adapt when something doesn't go right the first time. Adjustments are made all the time in boxing. Why can't Cotto do it?

I would pick Cotto to win a rematch. I think he showed he has what it takes to beat Margarito and he would learn from his mistakes and get a UD.

I think people overrate the beating Cotto took. He took massive punishment to the body and had a busted nose but still went 11 rounds even throwing combinations when he was clearly done. Cotto can do the same thing he did in the 1st fight, just stay off the ropes and don't try to over excert yourself then watch out for the uppercuts - he does that; easy UD.

Cotto will win the rematch by UD... ohh and if MoneyMay wasnt retired it think Cotto would beat him too...

Hold your horses there, homeslice. Floyd's a much better boxer than Miguel Cotto. His stamina's better and his chin is probably better too. Cotto wouldn't have enough of a size advantage to overcome Floyd's superior boxing skills and stamina. Floyd UD. Simple as that.
