Vitali won as he wa supposed too - Peter lost, as he was supposed too. This fight wasn't a fight since the ink layed it's way on the paper. STOP, PLEASE STOP, with the JC/Lacy fight. i would have liked to have seen Peter fight 1 more round and really go for Vitali for the KO if that didn't work then quit but i thought he could have given it 1 more round

oh no doubt... the Tsurkan fight was just fine to go on.. im tellin you Lampley made a farrr bigger meal of that for Angulo than it really was. I was ringside... and not a single person seemed all that concerned for Tsurkans health.. not even his own guys and corner.. they were pushin him on for a valiant effort. I agree. In comparison, Tsurkan was actually landing punches on Angulo. Peter landed maybe 3 clean punches all fight. A total onesided beat down. When you cant even get inside the jab and land a punch, it's a lonely place. I dont want to stick up for him like that because even I was like wow I cant belive he actually quit, but at the same time when a fights that one sided, I dont see the point in watching it unfold the same way for 3-4 more rounds what ever it was. After round 5 I was just waiting for Vitali to knock him out. It settled into the repetiveness that I hate in a fight.

The thing is people have died or suffered permanent damage from those type of beatings. Put yourself it Peter's shoes. Your getting the shit beat out of you and you know your down 8 rounds with no chance to win and you know in the back of your head what has happened to boxers in the past from taking a sustained beating. It's not worth it and there's no shame it what he did.
