Speed - Mannys speed is going to be his key to beating Oscar because if Manny gets on the inside, Oscars height advantage will go against himself and Manny will start to pepper DLHs face with ease.
Size - Yeh I know I sound stupid but remember being the bigger fighter can go for or against you. If Manny uses his speed to get on the inside, Oscar is going to have one hell of a time fighting Manny because Manny is going to rip oscar on the inside.
This is because Manny is smaller than and will be better than DLH compact punching.
If you guys think that Manny cant get past Oscars jab, youre dead wrong. Mannys entire training camp will probably be about using his speed to get past the jab.
I mean just look at what happened when Pernell got on the inside with Oscar, I know Manny isnt Pernell, but Oscars not the same fighter he used to be.

Age - Manny wont have much power at 147 against DLH, which is why Im not going to put power on this list, but because of Oscars age, Oscars face will get busted up pretty bad, even against Pac. This was proven in the Forbes fight.
Stamina - Oscar only fought half the time against PBF and got tired. If you get Oscar to fight 3 minutes of every round hes going to get tired and stop being effective.
And yes you can trust Manny to do just that.
And Oscar is going to be weight drained.
All everyone who thinks Manny cant win says are things like...
Oscars left hook will break Mannys neck
Oscar will pick manny apart with the jab
Mannys punches will bounce off of Oscars chin
and
Domain is really smart
But I doubt Oscar can land that left hook flush while Manny is on the inside
I doubt that Oscar will keep Manny off of him using the jab considering Mannys way too fast.
I think Manny will bust Oscar up looking at what Forbes did to Oscar even at 147.
With that being said, I think Manny is going to get past Oscars jab, get on the inside and pepper DLHs face for 3 minutes of every round.Thats going to make Oscar tired and ineffective during the later rounds, then Manny is going to start putting welts under Oscars eyes and get a busted up and tired Oscar TKOd.
I posted this on seperate thread.
Im a huge boxing fan and watch alot of boxing from around the world. Many great fights over next couple of months, but manny vs oscar is main one for me from a betting and watching point of view.
Having watched oscars last fight against the average but tough steve forbes, i came out of watching the fight with a feeling oscar was gone at the game. Ok that might be abit over the top, but he certainly not at the top of his game anymore. Did anyone come out of the fight feeling, "wow what a performance"?............ i very much doubt it. Steve forbes threw very little that night and was there for the taking imo, yet all oscar had to offer was throwing the odd 1,2,3 shots, then sit off for rest of round. 12 rounds of pure rubbish imo!!!
Manny on otherhand has been non stop impressive and is still at the top of his game, i just can't see a slow oscar being able to out box pac man. Manny will defo have to much power for oscar to handle.
So when i check the odds on offer, im in shock to find oscar odds on and manny on offer at 5/2. Odds wrong way round for me and will be placing my biggest ever boxing bet on manny to win and also a small wager on manny knockout also.
I just can't wait for this fight and can't wait for christmas bouns that awaits me
Oscar is getting trained by Nacho for this fight so expect Oscar to show some of the strategies that worked against Pac by Marquez. Oscar knows he has to be in excellent shape for this fight so I know he's going to last 12 rounds(if he doesn't knock Pac out earlier). Remember, DLH makes aggressive boxers look silly, I'm pretty sure he still can at this age.
Meh, the change in trainer is a disadvantage for Oscar. Oscar and Nacho will be working together for the first time and they probably wont have the same chemistry he did with Floyd Sr.
That and Manny and Roach already have their chemistry set up,and Roach has trained Oscar.
If someone has a trainer advantage here, its Manny.
Oscar knows he has to be in good shape for this but, hes gonna have to make weight so he wont be as good as he was at 154 against the biggest fight of his career (Mayweather) and he wont be as good as he was at 150, so Oscar simply isnt going to be in any better shape then he was at in his last fight. Infact hes gonna be in worse shape.
As for Oscar making aggressive fighters look silly... I cant see him doing it at his age and at 147.
Can Oscar KO Manny...Yes if he doesnt get tired first.
If Oscar attacks he gets tired, If Oscar does nothing he gets peppered.
You really think Pac has speed like FM or Pernell? Hoya has seen it all bro. Pac hasn't. DLH is Marquez X10, you will see.
Pacquiao is faster than FM and Whitaker with Handspeed but he just isn't big enough to compete
I wanna see Pac score the embarrassing upset, but it won't happen. He's much better than DLH at this point, but he's too ****in small and will get KTFO as soon as DLH connects cleanly wit a big power shot.

Marquez and Oscar are two completely different fighters style wise. Its not a good idea to compare Marquez to Oscar.
Manny doesnt have PBFs or Whittakers speed, but Oscar isnt the same fighter he was when he fought Pernell and PBF got Oscar tired by fighting for only half the fight, I mean all PBF had to do was defend against Oscars flurries and Oscar got tired.
Manny wont defend like PBF thats for sure, but he wont be inactive as PBF was and he wont be fighting on the outside.
I think Manny will win too. De La Hoya is on his way out, and while Pac is a lot shorter than De La Hoya, he isnt incredibly smaller weight wise. Sometimes being a smaller target can work for you, especially if you have the speed to get inside...and Pacquiao is very quick coming foward.
De La Hoya has seen it all, yes. but this aint the De La Hoya that fought Pernell. this isnt even the same De La Hoya that fought Mayweather. itll have been almost 2 years ish.
