It's a done deal, Arreola will be fightin Travis Walker on November 29th Thanksgiving weekend. Gonna be a great fight and I think Walker might come away with the victory if Arreola shows up over 250. This will be a entertaining fight guaranteed. Two big dudes throwin bombs at each other for 12 rounds. Don't think it will last 12 rounds and I think Walker has the power to come away with the KO. He beat Estrada, TJ Wilson and George Garcia which are all good opponents. His TKO loss to Wilson was b.s. and shouldn't have been stopped, real glad they had a rematch. This will be a great fight gonna be on HBO undercard of paul williams. Heavyweight division in late 08 is gettin some great fights. Haye, both Klitschko's, this one, Dimitrenko and maybe even Valuev's fight will be fun to watch.
Travis Walker Finishes Arreola By The 6th Round. Maybe Earlier If Lands A Solid Power Punch. Will Be A Good Fight Though. Hope We Get To See At Least 4-5 Rounds So We Can Get A Good Idea Of How Good(or Bad) These Two Really Are. 1st And 2nd Round Ko's Don't Speak Much In Regards To Longevity!!!!!
Yea i'll definitely bet points on Walker if Haye wins if that makes sense to y'all. Walker got a good shot at this and if he can weather the storm Arreola about to throw his way, by the 5th or 6th round that fat ass gonna be huffin and puffin and Walker can take care of him with some big shots.

Rematch Video?
I keep replaying wilsons tko victory over walker... it might have been a bad stoppage but Walker was clearly hurt and dropped his hands getting hit with 3 more punches clean to the face.. Arreola is alot faster than wilson and throws great combonations... I see arreola Tko 6
Why didn't you post the rematch video if you posted the first one...we all know it was a fluke. Honestly, Walker did make a mistake, but he's learned from it and won't get backed in a corner trying to "feel" a fighter out again, without throwing shots back...But :15 seconds, c'mon. You see what happened in the rematch!
I think Arreola's iron chin will allow for his rise in the heavyweight division. He's not fast but he puts together some nice combinations and hits like a jackhammer. I don't think he was ready for a skilled boxer like Ibragimov, but only due to his lack of experience with world class fighters. I'm excited to see him fight though
arreolla's chin is untested. he hasnt faced any big punchers yet
had to dig back on the forum to see this post, and im glad I did
should be a good fight and I look forward to it.
even better that it's on regular HBO.
Gotcha...
I always kind thought Calvin Brock would have had a decent comeback after that Klitschko fiasco, but he got fat as **** and is now blind... I think he's out of the mix.
That guy was a Michael Grant, Audley Harrison and Dominick Guinn type of guy. Huge hype for Brock but he wasn't shit, shows you how much 31-0 against nobody's get you. Yeah he fought McCline but went to the canvas, never really had that much power. I was so dissapointed in Brock. Chambers should fight winner of Thompson vs. Toney, be good for his comeback to the top.

I have Chambers, Arreola and Walker as the top three young (under 30) American heavyweights. But Thompson is about as good as Chambers - not as quick as Eddie, but because of his size, reach, and awkward southpaw style, I think Chambers vs. Thompson would be close to an even match.

Thanks for bringing this news!
This will be a very good heavyweight fight, between two of the top three young American heavyweights.
Travis Walker is underrated because of the ridiculously quick stoppage loss to Wilson - this fight could go either way. Walker is stronger and hits harder than Witherspoon.
I know you have Chambers at #1.
What about Tony Thompson? Or do you not think he is very good?
I like husky fighters but he made me change my definition of husky.
Boy looked like a damn seal ready to get harpooned in the last one.
The other guy didn't look like Mister Olympia either.
haha, their body types looked almost exactly the same.
the main thing Arreola has going for him is his infighting abilities...no heavyweights nowadays know how to infight, all they do is grab...which is extremely irritating. I love his left uppercut too, thats so rare amongst heavyweights...and honestly, his defence is pretty good, esepecially for a guy who always comes foward.
that bastard needs to lose weight though, bad. get down to around 235 or less, and hes good to go.
Not for nothing but isnt it time Arreola steps up in class? I mean further than Travis Walker?
They've been trying forever to get Tua or Rahman in the ring, but they overprice themselves. Walker is a reasonable opponent until something better comes along. If they just shoot him to the top before he is ready, it won't be doing Arreola any favors.

I ain't sold on Arreola at ALL.
Looks like a regular heavyweight hypejob to me.
When he steps into real competition and gets blown out, you'll see.
But hey, I can be TOTALLY wrong, but IMO - He looks like a hypejob waiting to get KOed by real competition. Wlad would blow this sucka out of the water, hell a ring rusted Vitali would too. Peter, even HAYE too. This guy is just a pretender, not a serious contender.

Tried to get Ibragimov but I guess it didn't work out. Walker is better then Chazz and Damien. It'll be a great test for Arreola and a great fight to watch.
Walker is an impressive physical speciman, but he's way too stiff and mechanical. I look for Chris to stop him in the mid rounds.
I have watched Walker struggle against much lesser fighters. Arreola should win the fight quite easily.
I respect Walker though for being a heavyweight who always shows up for the big fights in great shape.
