"Sugar" Shane Mosley was about as Sweet as Vinegar in there tonight im callin for his retirement!
Mayorga was a point or two ahead for me when Mosley finally laid him out, u gotta feel sorry for Ricardo. Mosley dissapointed in all but the 6th and the final round, i know its been a year since he fought and its up a weight, Mayorga looked so much bigger but to me he looked like it just wasnt there anymore, perhaps the Cotto fight was his last great performance.
He should retire now on a Dramatic KO win over a high profile oppenent.
DAMN i didnt see that ending coming tho - Good stuff! :boxing:
Berto looked much like i thought he would but didnt impress like id hoped he might
Wished I'da seen it. SSM is gettin from everybody on here. Retirement time? I hope not. I'd like to see him win 1 more belt before he goes out.
On that performance Mangler he aint beating any of the big guns at WW!
Fight was a mess but the ending was so dramatic it made up for it!:boxing:
I think Mosley should go back down to WW and fight someone like Zab Judah or clottey and see how he performs. If after a fight with a zab or even a clottey if he struggles then call it a day. The thing is he did look bad but as many of you are saying he was fighting 7p above his normal weight and mayorga was a good 10p heavier come the fight, he was just tooig and to much for Moslay.
Yeah plus he aint fought since Cotto like a year ago but i dunno man he looked shot to me well mabey not shot but on a serious decline! Mabey that Cotto fight took alot out of him, it was a brutal fight Mosley had never been tagged that hard that often befoe.
I watched Mosley vs Willy Wise and Antonio Diaz before the fight he has fallen SO Far!

Look at your scoring of Mayweather-Hatton. Case closed.
except you're no lawyer or judge. A real one would've threw the result out for biased officiating.
Both Berto and Forbes Clinch each other all night long. And Berto's punch stat wasn't even that great, it was like 600 punches. Theres welterweights out there who throw over thousands of punches. You can see that berto gets tired then he clinches, and fights in spurts just like forbes fights in some ways... Berto is lame. His punch stat was low, and his punches don't look that devastating for a young man such as himself. He ain't going to knock out any of the elites any time soon nor will he beat any of the elites.
Hey Man I Owe You 10 Big Ones Now Just Tell Me How To Give Them To You And I'll Do It Asap
Good stuff man, just hit the Vplaza menu bar at the top of ur screen n=and then click donate, type the amount and then my username man, cheers.
Bet u thought after the first 2 rounds Forbes had his number i know i did!
Mayorga barely landed anything significant. Shane actually avoided a lot of the blows, but he just wasnt doing anything. Mayorga mean while pushed the action even while missing, so I guess I can see him maybe being up a round at the end.
Ugly fight, crazy ending. Shane was effective every time he put punches together. He just cant do it enough anymore.
thought he was consistently throwing more and was marginally the more energetic of the fighters in the middle rounds
also the commentators kept critcising Mosley so I may have been influenced

Nothing like your scoring. I'm not sure if you've ever seen a fight in your life.
Well Jim Watt agreed with me and everyone here seems to think it was close and with that many scrappy rounds they could have been going either way so go study the sport u nut cup
Nice KO win for Shane but even he did not look all excited, it actually seemed like he knew or knows this was his last fight in the post fight intereview.
I can't see how anyone had the fight for Mayorga.
I had it 7-3-1 for Mosley.

DLH has the upright boxing style, jab and height to box Mayorga
Tito has the consistent power to hurt Mayorga early
Mosley was a smaller and shorter fighter with neither Tito's power or DLH's controll-a-fight jab and height...
So naturally his hyperactive, instinctive nature would not allow him to be a dominant as someone with vicious power or a jab and height advantage
Even tho he got a Vicious KO i think i over estimated Mosleys power going into this, at least at 154
I had Mosley ahead but he is so wild, I can't agree with that bullshit compu box.
Compubox can kiss my hairy ass! **** punch stats and all that bullshit.
How did HBO have it? Sky had Mayorga edging it
