said that Calzaghe is one of the greatest fighters ever. He said Marciano was 49-0 and Calzaghe is 45-0 and really respects him as an athelete.
Does he really mean this, or is he talking Calzaghe up so when he beats him it makes him look even better.
Thats not the reason its because he doesnt look like a great fighter when he fights ,,, thats the reason but that just cant be an honest opinion so it :dunno: must be racial .
He's only about 1/3 as exciting now as he was around the Brewer and Mitchell fights. But then his hands are held together by tape now. It's quite an achievement that he's managed to adjust his game to cope with this.
I totally agree that RJJ is hyping up JC as much as he can, but I also think he does respect JC and his accomplishments.
JC IMO is a great fighter by todays standards, is he an all-time great, well that we will only be able to tell in time.
I think RJJ will shock a lot of people and make JC look a very one-dimensional and win a decision.QUOTE]
Calzaghe + one dimensional doesn't exist.
He is one of the best adaptable fighters in the sport.
Exactly, that's why I put he'll shock and make him look one dimensional. That's how great I think RJJ is, even at this advanced stage in his career.
I love both fighters and would love to see JC win, but my head tells me RJJ isn't finished just yet. Jones has that ability to make even great fighters like JC look one dimensional.

I don't think I've ever heard JC and one-dimensional in the same sentence before.

Of course because if RJJ pulls off the huge upset he looks really good if he can hype Calzaghe as an unbeatable champion.
Umm..... I'm not sure but I think JC is an unbeatable champion. It's not just hype, I know some American's like to think of it that way but its not.
