Just saw this... I don't know if anyone else did a thread about this already.
Joe fans are not going to like this.
I agree with the rankings though. Truth be told, when it comes to skill JMM is by far the better boxer

i would move Vasquez to #4 and Margarito to #9, and maybe Mijares ahead of Pavlik
apart from that i completely agree with the list
yup margarito is way too high up there considering some of those behind him are much much better boxers and have better talent.
I m glad to see this. I started a poll yesterday to see if people agreed with me, I am happy to find that the ring does. Once Cal steps in the ring with Pavlik or even Taylor, his ass will fall (both on the ring and in the p4p)
I'd have The Blow AND JMM above Ping Ping.... Borehard is way too high despite that close fight last time.
Amigorito is in there now?
if you're referring to Margarito yea he is ... he's number 6
I never thought that having Pacman at p4p#1 is justified.
It is good in marketing sense, but not actually boxingwise.
well he has beaten the best in every division that he's ever been in (with the exception of lightweight). JMM can't be number 1 because pacman beat him (disputed as it may be). Joe can't be #1, quite frankly he doesn't deserve #1, #3 seems fair to me
B-Hop is too high on there
ring magazine using some plain and basic common sense. they just need to get hopkins off the list already.
Marquez was kept on the list after losing a SD to Pacquiao.
Hopkins was kept on the list after losing a SD to Calzaghe.
If Hopkins was to come off after his loss then so should of Marquez.
Hmmm, i'm not so sure. If he had beaten a better opponent in his last fight. Casamayor is past it.
Casamayor was still a very formidable opponent though, not to mention the lineal lightweight champ, and Marquez's better days are behind him also. JMM is just 2 years younger than Casa.
TWO WORDS.
MYTHICAL RANKINGS
I have Calzaghe #1 p4p for all its worth.
Well you are entitled to your opinion but I think i respect the ring's opinion a little bit more than yours.
