who's win was more impressive Marquez or Pacquiao

Dont make no sense,Diaz and Casamayor are leagues apart,Casamayor is lightyears ahead of Diaz thats an exageration, Casa would beat diaz on points but he wouldn't have knocked him out. Diaz wasn't great but he'd give Casa trouble.

I'll admit he should've lost that fight, but he got the decision. Bottom line, you go by the record, and by the record, Casamayor was the true Lightweight Champion of the World. If it's the official record we're talking about, you agree Marquez is 0-1-1 against Pacman then?

Both had great knockout wins...who's was more impressive and who do you think is going to end up as the recognized champion at lightweight. Pac holds a WBC belt, Marquez holds GBP's Ring belt. Pac totally annahilated a lightweight champ, who was in his prime, and whose only loss was against a lightwelter. Marquez KOed an aging veteran boxer previously defeated by Sta. Cruz and knocked out of the ring by Katsidis....hmmm let me see...hard to decide. I'd go with Pacman because he made beating a lightweight look so friggin easy. :boxing:

I have to say Juan Manuel Marquez's KO of Joel Casamayor ranks quite a bit higher than Pacquiao's KO of David Diaz. First off, Casamayor was the true, lineal Lightweight Champion. He has been for a very long time. And he was hot coming in tonight, 5 in a row with 3 KO's including the dramatic FOTY candidate against Katsidis. David Diaz was a paper Champion who got a gift decision against a shot Erik Morales. Say what you want about Casamayor's age but he still looked like the Casamayor of old tonight until Marquez was able to figure him out and started slipping his counters at about the 4th or 5th round. Oh yeah, Marquez is fucking surgical with that right hand. I haven't seen a guy that adept at the right hand lead since a prime Bernard Hopkins, or most recently, Floyd Mayweather Jr. I bet you you will be singing a different tune if it was Pacman who KOed Casa tonight. "Pacman just feasted on another washed up boxer, who has a great resume', yadah, yadah, yadah..."

It is Marquez KO of Casamayor. Casamayor beat an undefeated Katsidis and floor him 3 times. Diaz in my opinion didn't even beat shot Morales. Manny looked scary good but you have to see the context of who they were fighting.

this is my take ... both wins are impressive, BOTH victories showcased what pac & jmm can bring on the table... many can argue that CASA is better than Diaz, but dont forget Diaz Koed Sta Cruz (casa's tormentor) and if casa will not retire and if they ever fought, i will give david a good chance against joel and katsidis... P.S. this is the first real fight I rooted for JuanMa and I have him up at least two rounds going to the 11th and i was very impressed really p4p caliber performance!!!

JMM just beat a shot fighter. Casa is not the boxer he used to be. god, i hate stupid statements like this. casamayor was far from shot, saying shit like this just takes credit away from JMM - who is on his way to becoming a fucking legend. obviously pac's win was more dominant, but it didnt mean as much as JMM's win did.

Pacquiao - diaz was a very one sided beat down and you're saying marquez win is way impressive? I doubt it. :D Obviously Casa showing his legs no more, he was ahead on score cards until that sweet punch. Can't wait to see Pac-Marquez III. :boxing:

well casa's the more legit, dangerous season opponent, but he was bit past his prime. but i still say JMM's win over casa was more over all meaningful than Pacs destroying of Diaz i would agree with this. Pac dominated his fight but Casa is clearly a much better fighter than Diaz and Marquez finished his fight real impressive

Casamayor is better than David Diaz so Marquez' performance was better IMO. And Marquez looked really small for the division.

Diaz had a very close fight with Morrales, Casamayor just TKOs Katsidis very impressivly. Casa is a much better boxer, JMMs win was better.

Casamayor is much more skilled than Diaz. In fact I thought Morales had beaten Diaz when he moved up to 135. As far as recognized LW champ, guess it now has to be between Campbell and Marquez since Pac has moved up to face ODLH at 147.

Casamayors last win was a devastating KO over Katsidis,Diaz last win before Pac was a MD against Ramon Montano,not to mention,Erik Morales beat Diaz,and got robbed from a world title at lightweight
