Should the Floyd Mayweather vs Ricky Hatton fight have been stopped a lot sooner

If it anything, they should have let Hatton get up and get KOed alas Roy Jones. That check hook was the best Ko of the year. It should of won an Espy!!! That so called check hook never landed, and Ricky knocked himself out by running into the ring post because he was fatigued by whatever they snuck into his water.

Thoughts Please...... I think it should have been stopped in the 1st when Ricky staggered Mayweather badly and had him doing the chicken dance and then holding on for his life. You do realize the punch diddnt land right? and hatton was on pbfs lead foot witch made him stumbe when he backed up. :duh: Because PBF was in some serious trouble in the first, stumbling around like a kid in a playpen. If PBF wasn't allowed to hold and the ref wasn't warning Hatton then he would have been KTFO. You could see the fear on PBF's face every time Hatton came charging towards him. If they hadn't of drugged Hattons' water bottle he would have eventually knocked Floyd out. The only time in the fight that a stoppage couldve been implemeneted was in the mid point of the 8th round when Floyd was beating Hatton on the ropes for a good 15 seconds, but even that wouldve been a premature stoppage. It was stopped just as it was supposed to be at the right time, Hatton was done at that point. Because PBF was in some serious trouble in the first, stumbling around like a kid in a playpen.
