1 punch power= Julian Jackson.
Hearns had a lot of power and carried that power to the cruiserweight division
Tito, for me, has the better accuracy. but is the #3 here.
Hagler really wasn't a 1 punch knockout type of fighter, he had very good power but it wasn't devastating kind of power, he would normally wear fighters down and then knock them out.
Of course, Caveman Lee begs to differ.
Like I said, he has plenty of power to get the job done, but he just wasn't a huge 1 punch KO artist. His KO ratio is very respectable, but I attribute that to the accuracy of his punches, more than his power. You can KO anyone, if you wear them down a little and then catch them just right. Ask Foreman, one of the toughest beards in the history of the sport, got gassed by Ali's rope-a-dope and TKO'd and it was only the 8th. And Ali was NEVER a big puncher.
No, Hagler's power doesn't compare with Hearns and those guys, not quite, not in my opinion.
Marvin Hagler really wasn't that big a puncher. The others you mention were. Hagler was a swarmer, incredibly conditioned and just wore his opponents down quick. Don't get me wrong, he could bang OK, plenty of power to get his job done, and he has a very respectable KO ratio, but you can't really compare him to someone like Hearns, Benn or Jackson.
How can you not compare Hagler who had a higher KO ratio than Hearns and KO'd him in a WAR. Marvin is underrated as a puncher.
Other great punchers I thought of comparing: Marvin Hagler, Gerald McClellan, John Mugabi, Nigel Benn but Tito, Tommy and Julian stand out in terms of one punch highlight reel power.

I think Jackson had the most 1 punch power pound for pound, Hearns was much better at delivering his punches though.
Jackson could hurt his opponent with arm punches, not sure if Hearns could.
Julian Jackson's knockout over Herol Grahm was the most brutal knockout i have ever seen. Hearns was a brutal puncher as well, however his power wasn't life threatning the way Jackson's was.
i agree with this
Hearns had better technique and better punch delivery ,accuracy etc but for brute force and power i think Jackson super seeds him
i have to say Hearns KO of grannit chinned Duran was impressive allthough Duran may have been caught a little cold
Duran was also, weight drained, donated blood, hell perhaps hungover due to making weight, but yeah... damn that was an ugly ass KO no matter what the circumstances
All kidding aside, I think the best way of measure of Hearns power was in his most notable loss vs the middleweight kingpin, Marvin Hagler. I think he actually buzzed the real granite chinned Hagler when I believe no other fighter has done so ever before.

harder? Jackson hands down. If he landed clean you were done, can you say Terrible Terry? The Hitman was the best puncher of the three but Tito had the best two-fisted power and definitely ruined the most pros because he punished them:boxing: over a number of rounds...
as what a previous poster mentioned, tommy brought his power with him in weight...another thing of those 3, they were all 'chinny' but tito was the one that best shook off a KD...the rest were horrible at taking shots...julian jackson would fold like a chair and tommy would walk around like a newborn baby giraffe
Yeah, that's one thing about big punchers, they expose themselves for counters. In order to deliver a great shot you have to put yourself in a dangerous situation. Live be the sword, Die by the sword.
as a kid, i thought i witnessed my first ring death when tommy hit duran with that one punch...hitman could crack!
Your not kidding, bud.
And for The Hawk fans....
OHHHH NOOOO!
I think Jackson had the more one punch put your lights out power, but Hearns knew how to punch a lot better.

 Good analogies.
I rate them like this.
1. Hearns
2. Jackson
3. Tito
