Great fight. Both fighters have excellent technique. Both are working inside with short accurate punches and mostly not back off untill the end of the round. Like watching a pro fight. This is the way shit should look.
Can i ask how many olympic fights you seen? Because this one was good, but there have abeen a couple of all out wars, body shot knockouts, and people leaving on stretchers, as well as cubans massacering people on a nightly basis.
ive seen it daily, but limited to about 4 fights a night. this one has been the most competitive and nicely structured fight ive seen so far. Ive seen the cubans fight but because they are infact dominating their opponents, it has been more of an individual display then this fight. i should've used "i've seen" since it was pretty presumptuous of me to claim it has been the best, but the Olympic threads havent gotten a lot of attention so forgive me for using that tactic. I can be your American Boy.
man being knocked down should at least count 3 points
anyway good fight we can be sure this santos guy gonna make a nice prospect in the pros
I was hopying he would win this one he got pretty close to a medal, but like you say a knockdown should count for more ATLEAST get the traditonal 2 points.
Sutherland Vs Kassel was the best fight for me.
Big bombs landed all through that fight, Sutherland is a massive hope in that division, Hes a real hard hitter and can take real hard shots.
Hell be an exciting pro.

despite being knockdowned (which doesnt matter), Djelkhir advances to the medal round in an awesome bout.
What the fuck was that, anyway? Stupid bullshit...
And in that round where Djelkhir got up 10-7, what the hell happened? Santos was tagging him.
