Calzaghe vs Pavlik Will be the biggest all white showdown since dempsey vs wilard

I'm still cracking up at the "all-white" thing, great thread! But it wouldn't be anywhere near the scale all-time as Dempsey-Willard. especially dempsey being HALF NATIVE AMERICAN and half white. :lol:

Well this thread shouldn't really be offensive to the ones who clearly have race preferences in boxing, actually you should expect it. But to everyone else, read non racist people, no it's not acceptable.

What was wrong with that post?? Lampley, Kellerman and Steward called it a superfight....Lots of people on this forum and people all around the world called it a superfight. Calzaghe and Kessler are both great fighters and would beat anyone at 168 or 175. IT WAS A FUCKIN SUPERFIGHT!!! listen, I'm too tired to get into the millionth debate about how calzaghe and kessler are not great fighters and especially how that fight is not a superfight regardless of it being 2 non-americans. so plz, just make a thread or something ask ppl if cal-kess was a super fight and if calzaghe and kessler can be considered great and why they are or are not so great.

Once they get old fighters like jones and hopkins out the way. When i say all white i mean british, and eastern europe, and white america. So no latino, blacks or hispancics included. Were long over due an all white showdon, and between pavlik and calzaghe the have conquered 3 divisions. This has the makeing of a classic and i can't wait.who dominate the lower divisions? - hispanic boxers which is currently the best division now? welterweight, the best fighters of the division are hispanic (cotto/margarito) and paul williams (BLACK). wtf white boxers dominate? the heavyweight division? :haha:.

It won't be anywhere near the scale of Dempsey-Willard.

Do you honestly think these two champs would feel any kind of unity over the issue of skin color if they were to step into the ring? Hell no, national pride is at stake and these are two fighters from different nations going into battle.

I would rather re-watch Gatti-Ward I, II, or III Pavlik/Joe would not be that big or have a really exciting atmosphere. Gatti and Ward actually had fans!LOL

Also guys just like to point out i have ment no disrespect to any latino, blacks or spanish, my best friend lennox is black he is an up and coming tap dancer, and alot of black and spanish are my friends at my boxing gym. just it seems like we havent had a all white showndown for ages LMAO!
