Bernard is giving Kelly WAY more respect than he gave Joe

Did you check the presser video out, BHop really changed his tune. Maybe it's because Kelly is actually respectable unlike slappy. Bernard should have retired, he's fighting for money. Atleast he never ducked anybody like Joe the phag ducked Kelly and everyone else in his career. Roy should smash slappy mcslappersons fucking teeth in. yeah he has shown tremendous respect, which from the outset of this match being made i was afraid that hopkins, my favorite fighter, was going to make it ugly, which i was fearing because next to him i like pavlik, so it's actually relieving to me to see them conduct themselves, especially hopkins, in this manner. i personally think that hopkins has kelly's power and workrate in the back of his mind and is more focused on making sure he doesn't get ko'd. so there is no reason to talk made shit if you know that there is a posibility that you might get ko'd, no sense making it worse by shit talking then getting ko'd. i personally think too, that hopkins might have learned a lesson a bit about playing the race card because i think that it affected the judging in his last fight, personally. because after watching that fight about a 100 times at home and having seen it live, ringside, i dtill don't see how calzaghe got the nod..................old news, don't get but hurt because i don't think calzaghe won, he got the win, it was just academic, which also i still don't see how they racked up all those landed punches either because more than half were in non scoring areas..................but that is just me.....

pavlik is a good guy why would hopkins say anything bad about him. pavlik has never said anything rude about anyone that I know of

probably because kelly can actually win by punching with some power or at least some authority, no by feminine slapping, im ashamed bernard even lost like he did because Pavlik deserves more respect than Calzaghe, and honestly Hopkins beat Calzaghe in their fight. :puke: American garbage. Here in America we like to see flush punches to the faces, we don't get off on the super windmill slaps. Here in the UK those windmill slaps remind us of our long-forgotten agricultural heritage.

and..... Not sure if you realise but there are other aspects to boxing than knockout power. For instance I dont think Pavlik could change tactics half way through a tight fight he is losing and have the heart to come out on the other side as a winner. Disputed as it was, he lost to Joe C after he talked mad smack and now he don't wanna look foolish again.

It will be a good fight. But the phase will be much slower, and that'll suit Hopkins a lot more. I don't know which way this goes, but I hope for Pavlik, because then the Calzaghe vs. Pavlik would be a step closer. It'll be exciting. But as Calzaghe writes, it all depends on how he performs against Roy Jones Jr.

I have trouble imagining B-hop Teeing off on Pavlik harder than Taylor did in the first fight.. Which makes a stoppage of Pavlik hard to anticipate. Either way it's going to be entertaining.

The comeback KO in the first fight and winning the last two rounds in the rematch. The Hopkins fights will be different because Pavlik is facing a boxer who is much more experienced, although worn down physically. I'm not sure if Pavlik can deal with the difference in experience but I'd favour him to, by outworking the older man to a decision win. I'm quite sure that the fight with Calzaghe will happen as long as they both win their next fights.

Don't know what you'd expect from a 43 year old, who is try to defend himself from slaps coming at every angle at full speed. By the way, the scary part is not the slapper, its the judges that count those Look i like hopkins ,but in that fight he way to negitive and looking to hold more than the hitman lol I couldn't help but feel embarrassed when Hopkins was looking to the ref to take a point for a make believe low blow !? I think we all can agree, that Calzaghe made himself look like an ass. His first time fighting in the states wasn't impressive.And hopkins never looked like an ass then??? with all his bad taste comments etc ?? I am a huge fan of Hopkins but he made himself look bad in that fight cause the only thing he was doing was shaming and spoiling all night type tatics ???? calzaghe did what he had to do against a guy that wanted to spoil for 12 rounds ! There was only one guy that let himself down in that fight and it wasnt Calzaghe !

It's cus he doesn't want to look stupid if he loses to a white guy again...
