Why is Zab fighting at Welterweight?

The guy doesn't have the explosive power he had at junior welterweight and doesn't have the work rate needed to knock out giant welters like Clottey/Cotto/Margarito/Williams...hell, even Berto weighs in at 160+ on fight night. He weighed in at 147 tonight, which is what Manny Pacquiao weighs during fight night. In today's era of the 36 hour weigh in, if you don't drain, you don't win. Why would Judah sabotage his own career? Is he delusional? Has too much hubris? Some irrational hope for a DLH fight? I think the guy beats Bradley and Malignaggi easily at 140 and can knock Hatton out on any given night. Sadly, I think it may be a few fights to late to save his reputation and career. judah should definitely move back down to 140. that's a pretty weak division.

I don't know why he's fighting at 147, 140 is clearly his best weight and there are fights there that can make him money.

I dont know why he doesn't do this or even if he thinks about it, Clottey was clearly bigger than him, I think Judah would have gone to the 12 to win a decision. But he should deffinetly be fighting in the Junior Welter weights

He came in 143 and only weighed 147, it's obvious he wasn't weight drained and could lose 3 more pounds before the weigh-in. For example, Pacquiao and Diaz both weighed around 146 for their fight and they had to make 135.

I'm not even sure if he can make 140 and even if he can, he might come into figh nights weight drained. I just hope he retires now.
