I don't think Mayorga is the same fighter he once was, I think Magrarito would walk him down and knock Mayorga out late but it would be a very good fight. Guy could still bang though..... Power leaves last and Margarito tests people... I don't know...

Mayorga kills me man lol The do or die attitude love it.. BUT skill wise he isnt the best.His great for what he is but someone like Marg i think would crumble him..

If Mayorga beats Shane, this is a fight that could happen. And it would be entertaining, even though Ricardo is past him prime.

If someone didn't start this thread I was about to. This would be an entertaining fight no doubt. Zero significance but entertaining. The only reason I would want to see this fight made though is because Margarito is unable to get a fight with any other WW for whatever reason. If the entire WW division continues to duck Margarito (with the exception of Williams cause I know he'd gladly fight him again) I think Mayorga is the only person crazy enough to fight Margarito. Mayorga straight cracks me up. The shit talk would be awesome!

It might play out a little different than you think. When the fight could have happend around 2004, Mayorga was in his prime. Mayorga would have killed the Margarito that showed up to get beat by Daniel Santos.
