I'm also very interested in their weight when they climbed in the ring. I have to say they both looked very thin during the weigh in. I watched the live weigh-ins on HBO.com and noticed that Cotto was drinking fluids as soon as he got off the scale. He just didn't seem to look healthy. When he climbed in the ring he looked like he was carrying quite a bit of water weight.
To keep things honest and to keep fighters safe I think they should change the weigh -in rules and have the fighters weigh in the same day of the fight. That way fighters will have no choise but to fight in the most natural weight class.
I know Cotto might not do to good at 154 because of the height and reach differences but do yall get the feeling he is still draining himself. By looking at his training pics then seeing him fight night after re-hydrating Cotto was no longer cut up.
