Please dont compare what Cotto is doing to what Floyd does

Cotto should have moved a lot more. I don't know what his corner was doing. But they should have told him to stay off the ropes at all costs. No one can continually afford to stay on the ropes against Margarito. Even Williams knew to stay in the center of the ring. And hey what a bout a clinch? Cotto should have tied up more. This is something Mayweather/Wlad are good at doing. They try to avoid as much hurt as they can by clinching when in close.

why you guys hatin on Cotto. He fought his heart out, but when you are against someone who throws alot of punches and keeps comming no matter how much you hit him you will eventually have to stop sometime. Actually, Floyd did get in the ring with a guy who offered him $8.1 million (Carlos Baldomir). Carlos Baldomir was the Ring Magazine champion at the time (which means he was the best in the welterweight division, not Margarito). At that time Margarito was considered no better than the third best fighter at welterweight and now he is second best behind Paul Williams. Before Margarito or stupid idiots like you start talking about Mayweather, he needs to avenge his loss to Paul Williams. Until he does, he is still nothing more than the second best welterweight in the division.
