Teddy asked Lacy if he purposefully tackled him and Lacy goes "Of Coarse I Did!"
Haha, he said it like he was angry at Teddy for not realizing it himself haha.
At least he was honest about it
Yea he did especially since it was only 10 rounds.
I have to like lacy.. and it seems like the Calslappy fight and the shoulder injury took some things out of him...
He needs to gain som stamina to keep the pace up.
was that all?!? it felt like a god damn 15 rounder lacy is so bad....
That wasn't me. I never would use the word "retart". My father was an English teacher and I had correct spelling and grammar mercilessly drilled into my head. :dead:
retart is a word also.
look it up......
the only reason this fight was mildy entertaining is because lacy almost got ktfo, which would have been great for boxing.
mendoza def gave this fight away in the twelfth, though anything less than a knockdown would have just resulted in a draw based on the scoring. too bad mendoza couldnt save us from having to watch another lacy fight.
hopefully taylor takes this bum out of tv land forever and knocks him out. if he can do that, then there's a lacy fight that's finally worth watching!

you never welcomed me......
after my first post all you said to me was , "you're a retart. do yourself and the world a favor and kill yourself , tua." :(

Yea Lacy was heated, it looked like he was ready to tackel Teddy down.
I thought the fight could have been a draw. Mendoza gave it away in the last round.

Hey boxing fans. I've been going to this site for some months now and decided to finally join.
I don't believe Lacy was trying to "purposefully" tackle Mendoza like a football player, he was just putting all his weight forward to clinch him and Mendoza felt overwhelmed by it so Lacy fell on top of him...which does seemed like he tackled him, but nevertheless. I was hoping for a big Lacy comeback, but I was totally fooled. I thought Mendoza did a little bit more that he should've won the fight, but the last round gave it away.
Did anyone else notice the way Mendoza was punching with his right? It seemed like he was trying to stab with a knife, even when swinging from the side. I thought it was kinda funny.

I would hardly call it genious. It Doesnt take a braniac to know to do that when ur hurt, ur legs are gone, and u need time to recover.
But it was the right move to make. But if he was going to get KO'd, the ref woulda found an excuse to save him anyway, lol.
Lacy still has some fire left, he just was trying so hard for that early KO, he clearly burnt himself out much to early
How many times do you see a guy hurt who doesn't know how to clinch and then he gets stopped? It happens a lot, people like Michael Grant trying to fight their way out of trouble and get into deeper trouble.
It's easy to shout from the sidelines that he needs to clinch but to summon that instinct under fire is an entirely different scenario.
That was a genius tactic, he was trying to clinch and Mendoza wasn't cooperating so he got tangled anyway he could. It won him the fight.

I wouldn't say the house ref was protecting him, Mendoza was doing some of his best work to the back of Lacy's head for most of the night. It was an experienced veteran move.
Only one fighter was continously warned, and it wasn't the Golden Boy fighter. Not even a warning after a flagrant tackle to avoid a KO? I'm surprised the ref didn't ask him "are you ok Mr. Lacy?"
It was the proper thing to do, hell if more fighters knew to hang on for dear life when they had to alot of things might be different...hell Wlad might be undefeated.
Especially with the house ref protecting him.
