It's common courtesy.. if whoever put on the event would have had some honor and integrity they wouldn't have disconnected the air conditioning from the room and left his corner out in the sun.. If Mayweather where to fight Cotto in Las Vegas and he gets treated like shit I'm sure you would be complaining. Puerto Rico is it's own country.. but you're still owned by the United States. That's why you have sen. and reps from Puerto Rico in our government. the idea that mexicans always beat the puerto ricans is bascially 100%LIE. in 2008 before the cotto-margarito bout they had been over 60 world titles between Mex/PR and ricans (dont exclude pr from new york like benitez,laporte, camacho etc) had won 44 times and mexico has won 22-23 times. since then idk the number now but those are the facts.

From what i understand with all the diesase the spanish brought, the tainos were not strong enough to combat these dangerous virsus, and so a lot of them got killed just from the spanish disess and then they(spanish) brought in black slaves cause they were more imune to the spanish diseses. Here is my summarization of all of this. Alot of Mexicans do have more of the indigenous features simply because there were alot more of these motherfuckers. The Spaniards could not chase them all down (aside from the fact that they were fast, it was the crossbreeding that made them slow) and fuck them. A Mexican fighter went to Puerto Rico and they treated him like shit.. they gave him a locker room with no air conditioning while the Puerto Rican fighters dressing room was completely ventilated and cool.. they set the ring up so his corner could be out in the sun and the Puerto Rican boxer's could be in the shade.. that's pretty much how it first started. When i see a boxer triumph wheither he is Mexican or not, but he triumphs over poverty, crime etc. that is uplifting to me. And give me inspirations.
