..KATSIDIS/DIAZ: Who Wins It?...

Pretty simple. Both coming off fights they were favored to win, both getting their first professional losses. Both had leads in the fight at one point, though Katsidis had the lead until the very end, whereas Juan was just outwilled by the highly skilled veteran. Both have the ability to throw punches in bunches, and both come to throw punches and fight. The speed goes to Diaz and the power goes to Katsidis. Both throw nice combinations, while Diaz throws them a little better, however Katsidis' pack more power. Both have tremendous heart and have the ability to rebound, even after this fight if they're smart about it. Katsidis lost by TKO to Casamayor in the 10th round in his last outing, and Diaz lost a decision to Nate Campbell. Who do you got? Vote. Discuss.

Katsidis always gets cut, but it dosen't phase him. Both fighters will get cut up, it will be a great fight and Katsidis will be victorious. I wouldn't bet on that.

Katsidis has a good chin and a huge heart Diaz is a pillow puncher, he dosen't have the power to stop Katsidis Katsidis by UD He's been cut in only about 98 percent of his fights. Rapid fire combinations can cut a guy up pretty good when he isn't someone prone to cuts. Imagine what might happen to Katsidis with Diaz.

Diaz with the stoppage. Katsidis has a weak chin and gets hit far too often for me to consider him a good fighter.

I have Katsidis by KO... and even if he doesn't win (I think Diaz is far superior technically) it will be one hell of a tear up. Can't wait!

I think DIAZ stops him within 5 or 6 rounds, but i think its gonna be an amazing fight and i think Juan will be hurt. What surprises me about Katsidis, is that he is a bit punchy, and when he gets hit in combination he always reacts badly. Thats all Juan does, and he does it well.

katsidis by late TKO. he had problems w/ casa who's more slick and powerful than juan, but this time, diaz's face first warrior mentality would favor katsidis.

First of all I love that matchup. The lightweight division is getting the fights on that have to happen right now and thats not a usual thing in boxing. My pick is Diaz by stoppage or UD. I just think he will have an easier time landing his shots than Katsidis will have against Diaz' defense.

Juan Diaz is a 4.5-1 favorite I will bet on Katsidis at those odds. Sure as hell wont lay 450 on Diaz to win 100 bucks even though he will probably win.

i like both fighters a lot. hope its a great fight by im going with juan diaz by late tko or maybe a UD. i just think he had an off night against campbell. i think hell throw to many punches for katsidis too handle near the end.
