I've just watched these two fights again on HBO on demand, and now I'm not so sure Cotto is going to win on the 26th.
Margarito obviously put up the more dominant performance, but was it because it was against a lower tier opponent?
Which one of these guys fought better that night? Cotto has some short fucking arms too...
I only said that because you're a caucasian and I'm not.
Im not Caucasian more or less on the lightly browned,
How many countries if FLoyd was president would we be ducking?
Would we only take big money wars?
Would making it rain be our nations new slogan?
I'm not going to bother reading the whole thread, but I'm going to post the truth which I'm sure its been said 30 times by now. Cotto/Mosley is 10x the accomplishment. I like Cintron, but he has not shown that he can compete on even a a- level yet. Maybe B+ would be about where Cintron is right now. Mosley has been at a p4p level. Not to mention Cintron has made it very apparent that he folds under pressure. He looked more like he just didnt want to get up.
And anyone that says otherwise should be discredited.
Cotto's win over Shane was a close, mildly disputed decision, but it's still better than Tony's 2nd Cintron KO. Shane is a proven great who had a good chance to win and did in some people's minds. Cintron was a dead man walkin from the getgo. The manner in which Tony thrashed him was way more decisive than what Cotto did wit SSM, but in terms of relevance, Cotto's win is better.
it was a close fight, prime mosley would of whipped him easy;
margarito fought a prime fighter kermit cintron which has KO power more than mosley,
and maragarito was smiling every time cintron landed, that's nuts
I'll post some .gifs up in a little bit.
Floyd's left hook followed by the right hand was his money combo against N'dou.

Here's a great gif of him dodging everything.
As for the topic, Cotto's performance was better.
Mosley, even at his age, is still a top fighter and one of the best fighters around thise divisions. Cintron, although i like him, only really has power. And even that power has never been prooven at a high level of opposition, I ain't saying he hasn't got power, just that he hasn't ever KOd a top oppenent.
With that, Cotto-Mosley was a more impressive win imo.
