you were right...Green K coming your way I was pretty much spot on on my prediction except for one thing, Cotto landed MUCH bigger shots than I could have ever expected, both guys were amazing.

Miguel Cotto Con's Cotto has been on cloud 9 before he was even a champion, Now that Cotto is now in the spotlight and boxing is looking towards him to replace Floyd. He has left himself no room to grow as a fighter... No More Unproven Contenders Like Gomez, No More Past their Prime Old Fighters Mosely in which He barely Wins.. No More fighting non active fighters like Judah He now has to fight Prime,Active, Young , P4P, Highly ranked Fighters.... There is no more grace time.....The Time is Now.... And His First Test is Margarito.... Remember Cotto has never had to beat a Champion For his Title...He has always fought fellow contenders for vacant titles.... I have been seeing this coming though, but the commentators on HBO are just commenting on the good things they see. It may just come down to that, but like I said in my original post, if Cotto does have it in him then I think he can win a UD, but I'm betting on him not being able to finish strong. My thinking is that there is no way in hell he undertrained for Mosley (because of the significance) and that late drop in energy was a conditioning issue he may not be able to improve upon. Maybe Floyd's right and he needs some more altitude to push those lungs. you were right...Green K coming your way

Now that I think about it. If Cotto did not prepare for a 12 round pressure full fight. and learn new tactic's on how to fight Back wards. ( which he cant) Cotto is in trouble in the late rounds of this fight.:sad2: and this is what ultimately what happen...

But Mayweather said something about Conditioning that few fighters listen too. When Williams lose to Quintana where did he train..? and the second time Williams didn't train there.! When De la hoya lost to Floyd where did Oscar train? and if Oscar would have had a rematch with Floyd he would of not trained there..! Puerto Rico.! Mayweather says all the time that Puerto Rico is not a good place to train simply because of the sea level and the air. And when fight time comes.. The air in America when cause the other fighter to get tired. You made a great Point about Conditioning, and that being important for Cotto to win. Cotto better hope he can adapt to the Vegas environment. Because if he doesn't. I feel that Margarito if he train properly will be able to take advantage of that. since he train on the ground level. and is Adjusted to the environment. Oscar reason for tiring in his last 3 fights was not because he was out of shape. It was because he could not adjust to the environment. This fight is in Las Vegas. this is actually a good thread ur not so biased when u dont talk about mayweather anyway u say williams lost to quintana becuz of conditioning but didnt quintana train in puerto rico? my prediction is that this fight is a lot like marquez vs vazquez marquez: better boxer, also a great puncher, smaller vazquez: better puncher, less boxing skills, bigger cotto is a brawler/bpxer thats just his style if marquez teached us something is that against a hard puncher u cant afford to trade and then box imo marquez ability for boxing is better than cotto, he outboxed vazquez while exchanging with him a couple times, this eventually caught up to marquez and the same thing will happen with cotto of course vazquez is a bigger puncher than margarito but lets remember before vazquez defeated rafa marquez he was nowhere near the p4p list so this might be the fight that shows the world what margarito is capable of with his limited style but with constant pressure and great determination to top the advantages for margarito his chin is very good while cotto chin is still a ? mark If Margarito can use his Height and Set up his offense with a Jab. I rewatched it last night to makes sure i wasn't just having selective memory. He was so winded in the 9th round that the commentators kept saying there was something wrong with him or he was injured, in the 11th and 12th when he was more effictively working with his limited energy they said he had changed his strategy. I just think if he has that kind of conditioning late in the fight he's going to get put down. He got hit with a lot of looping rights too, but I must add his hand speed is going to be miles ahead of Tony and Tony will have to try to nuetralize it with accuracy and workrate. I have no doubt in my mind That Cotto will get tired. But the question is How will he handle it..!

im in that same boat with him looking winded in the late rounds of the mosley fight, alot of people say he was changin his strategy, but seriously, he looked tired, thats something that has me leaning toward a margarito KO, its crazy because rarely do i pick the underdog, but this is a prime example of a style making a fight, this is margaritos chance at the big time and i know hes gonna show up even if he loses. Did you even watch the Mosley/Cotto fight? Cotton won the fight fighting backwards. Antonio CANNOT win this fight. Only thing that could happen is Cotto giving the fight away, and he's way too focused, skilled and talented to let that happen to a B level fighter like Margs. I hope you know i am picking Cotto to Win...

ah so you've never actually watched someone fight outside of mayweather. well atleast you're honest about it. he is a one demensional slugger, i mean, there arent too many other demensions to his game other than that.
