Pac's got no chance in this fight imo. But assumin he actually won it clearly, no doubt he's an ATG. Like DF said, DLH's past it, but he's a big start wit a big rep and Pac beatin him would be insane.
It would be huge for him because DLH is still a very good fighter even though he's not the same fighter that he was a few years ago, he's still a very good fighter, for Pacquiao to overcome the natural size advantage of DLH would be unbelievable because he looked a little bit slower at 135, 147 could just make him lose more speed and more power.
the weight difference is crazy! off-training manny weighs around 150. when they climb the ring the difference in weight will be around 15-20 lbs which is actually really ridiculous! Just goes to show manny really is not afraid of anybody, I think he's looking for a big mega-buck fight which none of the other champion fighters have in his 2 divisions that's why he's looking at hatton or DLH.
From 130 to one fight at 135 to 147. It's ridiculous. If he beats Oscar, it's got to be one of, if not THE greatest accomplishments in the history of boxing.
totally agree.
but i doubt manny would win the fight.
he'd win about $20 mil. dollars though. eases the pain of an L.

If Manny cleans out the 135 division he would be a living legend to most boxing fans. If he were to go up and beat De La Hoya he would be a living legend forever to the filipino community and the rest of the mainstream world.
De La Hoya would never live this down especially after working with Freddie Roach.
On the flip side, it completely tarnishes Oscar's resume. Who cares that he's old? Pacquiao is a freakin kid compared to him. I really think it will ruin Oscar.
