I thought it was pretty clear... not Whitaker-Chavez clear, but...
Thank you.
What about Molitor or Caballero?
He'd be bottom 10 if he beat those two, I think. Around the 16, 17 area. Just me, of course. He's way too talented to stay out of the to 10 for more than 2 years, though.
Whats joe calzfraud done to get second place and ranked higher than miguel cotto? Hold a belt for over 10 years because the majority of the people he handpicked were bums?
I can't believe how fast you turned on your favorite fighter EliteSoldier... Its incredible.
Not even close. That is just absurd.

Beating Rafa Marquez puts him up on the list. Undefeated, great skills, tremendous upside, charismatic, great punch, speedy, good footwork, technically sound, and would have beaten Ponce (very impressively) and Rafa, (presumively impressive). That's top 10.
I mention all that stuff, because it DOES come into play. It determines your next opponents sometimes (if you can sell a fight with charisma), which could then improve your record, (if you beat the fighters in the big fights).
Thank you.
What about Molitor or Caballero?
What do you think Juan Manuel Lopez needs to do to get ranked?
His destruction of Ponce was so sweet.
Does a win over Molitor or Caballero get him on there?
Does a win over Marquez even do it?
I'm pretty sure a win over Vazquez at this point would make him a shoe-in for the list, but...

lol @ inactive and beltless, that shit was harsh man, dont hurt em like that. I guess you have a point, i wouldnt change my list, however i wouldnt blast yours by any means, that is a great point because wtf is he doing right now?
I even have to admit that was cold..lol. I agree though, both lists would be understandable. It really depends on how you look at it.
My point is that he has not won in almost a year, does not have a title belt and does not even have a fight signed right now. Meanwhile, you have guys like Cotto, Mijares and Calderon getting big fights and fastly working their up the pound for pound rankings and earning their spots while Marquez is inactive and beltless. A win over Vasquez, Caballero, Molitor or Lopez would quickly boost up back up the list. As of now, these younger fighters are making a name for themselves.

I disagree. The two fights Raf lost were razor thin to another p4p fighter. I think he is still worthy of being ranked. As far as Vazquez goes, he beat a better fighter in Raf, twice, than Cotto did winning against Shane, Judah and Gomez. Jmo.

IVAN AND VK ARE GOOD BOXER WHICH GOT NO REAL GO CONTENDERS TO FIGHT AGAINTS...
In the time frame that you are speaking of I can see your point.
At this point...
A draw against a guy who lost twice to Kelly Pavlik
A win over a blown up welterweight
And a loss to Hopkins at a weight too big for Wright (who just lost to Calzaghe)
just isn't very impressive... so I can understand him being bottom 10, or even off the list, because of inactivity and what has happened to his opposition in their recent fights.
But... back then...
A contested draw to the undisputed, undefeated middleweight champion
A dominating performance over a guy who just got robbed against Vernon Forrest
And a close decision loss to the lineal LHW champ when Wright had no business at the weight.
Seems like it is more deserving of a higher ranking, considering Wright was #3 when he lost.
Yeah, it has ended up becoming okay, but I was a little shocked when those new P4P rankings came out the week after Hopkins-Wright.
The problem is that loss wasn't recently. It was over a year ago. When was the last time Winky won a major fight?
winky clearly beat taylor..got robbed like Pernell did with Chavez
I can understand it now, but the fact is, it didn't happen just now. That is kind of troubling. When Wright lost a decision to Hopkins above his natural weight, Taylor was still undefeated...

Why is Rafael Marquez on the list? He has lost two straight. I would also put Cotto above Vasquez simply becuase Cotto is unbeaten and Vasquez lost last year.

JMM #3?? I dont think so...Calslappy # 2? HELL NO! Take B Hop off there...Move pavlik,cotto,and vazquez up.
The bottom line is that Winky's last major win was Trinidad over 3 years ago. The draw with Taylor isn't quite as impressive right now. If he were to return and beat someone like Sturm, Abraham, Froch, etc. he'd be right back in there.

He fell to 8 or 9 almost immediately after Hopkins though...
