Joe Calzaghe is the most complete.
can you please list all the skills?
handspeed , speed , power , footwork , chin . durability , stamina , etc.
and then rank all 4 in each skill.
if you can do it thanks. i'm very curious to see your ratings......
James Toney I would say is the most complete fighter...even old and fat he still gives legitimate heavyweights a tough fight because his defensive skills are the best of any active boxer and he knows how to counter punch from any position.
Roy Jones is obviously the better man and at his prime was the most complete boxer you could find but with his legs gone he has to redevelop a defense instead of relying on his speed.
Calzaghe comes in third because he hasn't show the range of talent (IMO) that Jones/Toney have--Titles from MW to HW further make the case that they are very complete fighters.
I'm not even sure who Michalcze is.
Michalchewski & Calzaghe would've been an excellent, excellent match-up.
Really tough call ...
I think Id put it like this:
Most complete:
1. Calzaghe
2. Toney
3. Jones
4. Michalszewski
I can understand putting Toney above Calzaghe and Ive got to admit Joe doesnt really always look like such a complete fighter, but I think his ability to adapt and all the different styles hes shown make him the most complete.
The best:
1. Jones
2. Calzaghe
3. Toney
4. Dariusz
Good list.

James Toney. He took apart very good opponents with a perfect balance of offensive and defensive skill. Just look to his performances against Jirov and Barkley. He didn't survive that long against Jirov by being a tough pug. Some of the things he did against Barkley offensively were astonishing. Short right/left, left upper, right upper, right hook, jab jab, slip the jab - right counter. Filthy.
James' achilles heel was always training and dedication. It wasn't skill, technique or intangibles.

Jones is the best, but if we're saying most 'complete' I think I might go for Toney. His offensive and defensive skills were both excellent in his prime. I'd say he was better than Jones or Calzaghe defensively, and whilst perhaps not as fast or flashy offensively as either he could certainly be just as effective.
james toney.
handspeed? check.
power? check.
chin? check.
heart? check.
footwork? check.
defense? check.
counterpunching? check.
roy is more talented but james is more complete and well rounded.
this is like ali and holmes more complete poll. ali is definitely more talented and superior to holmes in a lot of areas but holmes was good to great in all areas.
