Cotto-Margarito
THE BATTLE..........haven't looked forward to a fight this much since Corrales-Castillo II. If it lives up to even 1/2 of its potential then it will be a damn good fight.
Same here. This is one of those dream matchups. You always wish it would happen but they never do or can't for some reason. Well this one has become a reality and I'm dying to see it. Margarito has no regard to human life, and Cotto loves to see his opponent in pain. How can it not be a great fight? :nana:
If he has no regard for human life why did he throw that Paul Williams fight?

Does anyone know the time and place where the weigh in is being held? I wanna do it all big style go to the weigh in and the fight.
Probably in one of the MGM ballrooms.
Filth. Absolute rubbish, son.
Floyd did great in '98.
He could only dream of fighting that type of competition.
Mike McCallum would have dismantled Floyd at 154. At 160? I don't know. I might favor Floyd...
Fake facts.
He said Merqui Sosa hit him harder than did Rahman.
Oh and FYI, Floyd backed into the ropes when he got rocked.
Like a coward, JT held on to the ropes for dear life and support.
Surely is you used logic and common sense you'd know this. Logic and common sense. Common sense and logic. Neither are plain. Neither are basic.
Sanderline was a crafty bastard. But JT still said Barkley hit like a young Ernie Shavers.
You still on, Gringo?
Browsing other topics son. Staying up on that hip hop forum and Klitschko/Thompson.
Don't question my knowledge of Toney. He said the same thing about Iran Barkley as he did about Sosa. Sosa decision was stupid too. Should have been a clear Unanimous Decision for Toney. Similar to Mayweather/De La Hoya.
I believe he said he couldn't dream of anyone hitting harder than Iran Barkley. Go look it up. He said on broadcast that Merqui Sosa hit him the hardest he's been hit, but he fought Sosa before he fought Barkley didn't he. What have you done for me lately?
Barkley hit him harder. So did Sanderline.
Whitaker doesn't have a punch in his arsenal as good as Floyd Mayweather's straight right hand. Tell me I'm lying.
Whitaker's right jab was better than Floyds straight right. It was probably the best right jab of all-time.
JT - James Toney - lacks legs and discipline.
He gets nothing.
Toney actually admitted that he's from Grand Rapids, but left because he wanted to make a name for himself.
That town already belonged the family Mayweather.
JT took Sam Peters best shot, stumbled, then realized he had been hit harder before by Sanderline Williams.
Pernell Whitaker?
Don't tell me about that fool.
He's put more gear in his nose than Nigel Benn towards the end of his career.
Floyd would've crippled Whitaker.
As early as '95/'96 to be accurate.
Whitaker would have fed Mayweather jabs and straight left hands all night. Floyd would have cowered in the presence of superior reflexes. Pernell would feint him out of his shoes.
You hate Floyd because he's the best thing out of Michigan.
Nah son, I use to root for Floyd. He'll never be on the level of JT though, because Floyd came up on the west side and JT came up in my town.

Same. The only fight I'll be anticipating more is Cotto/Mayweather if it ever happens. I hope Miguel puts on the performance of a lifetime.
I'm also looking forward to Toney/Rahman II...as sick as that sounds.
I actually ROFL'd at Floyd when Shitman almost made him slip.
Regretted it after, but I still ROFL'd.
Did you?
Actually I was laughing because my friend hates PBF and he was like he's hurt. I laughed at him.
That slip actually reminded me of the Collazo-Hatton fight where Collazo was hit off balance and went to the canvas with a punch that barely landed.
