What do you think. I got Casamayor Katsidis- an instant classic and a reminder of why Casa is so great after his disappointing stink out against Jose Armando Santa Cruz!
Haha- yeah, I think they had an agreement not to try and hurt each other. How diplomatic.
I'm torn too, but I went based on my physical reaction and after Kat-Casa, I was jumping around the room and did laps around the 1st floor of my house!
Yeah man, That fight was great. I wanted Katsidis to win though, which kinda sucked. But it was a great fight, I'm gonna watch it again later now i think of it.
Clearly it was Klitschko-Ibragimov!!!
But really, i torn between Kat-Casa and Mar-Vas 3.

Ivan Valle vs Jose Reyes should be on the list too, I think it had 6 knockdowns in 4 rounds, 3 from each fighter.
Thanks for that, I haven't seen that fight. I should check it out.
seems like mad heads are picking vasquez-marquez. I'm cool with that. That was my pick til I saw the Katsidis- Casa fight and I can't wait to see a 4th match and see those little tigers get the payday they deserve finally!!!!
I just thought the dramatic shifting of events was pretty amazing in Katsidis Casa. Plus the fact that Casa got knocked through the freaking ropes and still had the heart not only to continue, but to come back and knock his guy out. What a warrior. The thing about Casa is that he took some fights off to save his best for this grand stage, so I'll give him a pass for the Santa Cruz Debacle.
He is the craftiest vet in the game (along with B-Hop). He knows all the tricks and just when everyone about counted him out, he proved why he is a bonafide hall-of-famer. if he beats jmm and pacquiao, I feel comfortable saying he is an all-time great. If JMM bests him, he sould consider retirement knowing he is a hall-of-fame lock. Amateur pedigree, olympic gold medalist, impressive career, world champion, he's a beast! and I love Mayweather, but he certainly wanted nothing to do with Casa at lightweight...
Holt won that belt, thanks to his head.
or thanks to torres's sloppy, reckless aggression. let's keep this thread about fight of the year canidates though. which one you got dude?!?
Why? Was it you that said a rematch with Gomez would be a good learning experience for Khan? Anyway, I think it would be, he could try and do right everything he did wrong.
I don't think that was me? Anyways the fight it self was really good to watch, Gomez gave everything and Khan looked vulnerable. Knockdowns, blood and all the rounds were action packed. The fight being on ITV helped! Britains Got Talent followed by boxing. What more could you want?!?!
Khan - Gomez.
