Well you just called everyone from the UK "stupid" so I would think otherwise. Run along little child. Adults are talking boxing.
Your thinking and your boxer mean nothing. Everything about both your fanboy loving making and his resume is paper thin and easily broken down. There is no arguing with menacing stupidity such as yours. I concede to your unbreakable idiocy, a power which I have yet to see in my life.
You are so far gone there is no helping you. I spelled it out for you and you still came back with the same ridiculous argument "it was Joe's dream to fight Roy! Therefore Roy ducked Calzaghe!" I really have no national prejudice against people in the UK, but you are giving me good reason to.

No, I debate boxing. I dont bring into national prejudices or 2 year old playground names.
You did which is a sure sign of someone losing their grip on the argument. Thanks for admitting defeat.

LOL, so thats how you get by in life, you stick to nonsense arguments until you frustrate people into ignoring you. Congrats, may that bring you much success.

You know you've won the argument when people start resorting to name calling and shameless xenophobia.
Here you go.:bottle:

yeah but you do realize that toney is a MUCH better fighter than calzaghe is don't you? jones almost completely dominated the whole fight against toney. he would've demolished calzaghe. No way in hell am I gonna be led to believe that jones didn't want to fight him cuz he was high risk. thats just ridiculous.
Toney was high risk/high reward. And if he had lost to Toney, it wouldnt have been the end of his career. He would've lost to the best around. Easy to recover from.
Calzaghe was high risk/low reward. He wins and nobody cares cos Calzaghe wasnt a big name. But a defeat to a guy that had been dismissed like Calzaghe would've been career-suicide for Jones at the time. Hence his reluctance to fight.
Could you please explain how going from Middleweight to Heavyweight is not a risk? Remind me never to visit to UK...you people have something very seriously wrong with your brains...

I havent run out of excuses. You have. You're totally contradicting yourself.
Criticising Joe's record yet supporting Jones' decision to avoid him because "no one gave a shit".
Doesnt really add up....
I don't have to make excuses for RJJ's record because it speaks for itself, meanwhile Calzaghe's record clearly shows he fought almost exclusively in the UK, against weak opposition. If you can't look at the records and the facts objectively you will forever fail in life you brain dead cuckolded she-male.
Errr yeah. But I thought you said Pavlik was beating the best out there?
It was his first mandatory after getting the belt you ******...figure it out. I can't think for you.
Toney was something to gain for Roy silly boy. Toney was undefeated p4p king. Jones hadnt proved himself yet and had a hell of a lot to gain from beating Toney.
But when Jones got to that position himself, he was the one with the power and he wasnt willing to risk his postion at the top too often.

Gary Lockett HAHA exactly, another shit fighter from the other side of the world getting handily beat.
If Pavlik isn't on Joe's radar why was Joe calling him out as a person he wanted to fight? Well, thats simple, BECAUSE HE WAS ON JOE'S RADAR.
Errr yeah. But I thought you said Pavlik was beating the best out there?
Whats funny is how you keep quoting what I say and repeating the same defeated argument because you ran out of excuses for your favorite fighter and it's hard to face the truth.

jones didn't like the risk/reward with calzaghe but he liked the risk/reward fighting Toney at smw? plz, give me a break. you calzaghe fans are so full of it.

This is funny.
On one hand you criticise Calzaghe for not fighting anybody.
Yet on the other hand, Jones and co had the right not to fight him because "no one gave a shit" about Calzaghe.
Funny stuff. Really is.

Gary Lockett?
You said Calzaghe wasnt on Jones' radar thats why Jones didnt fight him. Why the fuck would Pavlik be on Joe's radar then?
Double standards.
Joe wanted the fight. Jones didnt like the risk/reward. Its as simple as that.

You should happily admit all of them are shit. The big boys didn't know who Calzaghe was. Why else was Jeff Lacy favored to beat Calzaghe? No one gave a fuck about Calzaghe, he was fighting bums.
:haha:
Talk about contradicting yourself.
Calzaghe WAS in a position to fight whomever he wanted, and he wanted all of the mediocre talent the shallow gene pool in the UK could throw at him.
This is funny.

the big boys didn't want to fight him? lol. all calzaghe had to do is call them out and any of the so called 'big boys' would've answered his call. I've never heard of anyone holding a belt and being avoided. its usually high risk low reward fighters that are avoided. calzaghe was known as a low risk high reward fighter.
He did call them out - Jones, Hopkins, Tarver. Hopkins answered the call then changed his mind. Roy's phone went straight to the answering machine.
