I was wondering where we would put RJ on the p4p list if he outclassed calzaghe and beat him this fall. i currently have calzaghe number 4 on my list, and if he gets beaten i would have to drop him down to around 8-9, with jones one or two places higher than that... if we see RJ like he was in his prime i would put him in the top 5, but i doubt that would happen.

Serious question: How high did Pavlik go when he defeated Taylor?
Roy wouldt go anywhere in the P4P lists ... Come on, would that really mean hes that good again? It would kick Calzaghe out of the lists because hes shot or whatever, but it wouldnt give Roy his old reflexes back ...
He gets back a spot in the back half of the top 10. Beatin the #2 guy don't automatically mean he could bypass all the other top 10 guys and take Joe's spot.
If Jones beats him convincingly?
1. Pacman
2. JMM (assuming he has beaten Casa which isn't a sure thing by any means)
3. B-Hop
4. Cotto
5. Pavlik
6. Izzy
7. Raf
8. Mijares
9. Calderon
10. Roy
lol that suprised me.. i would put RJ near enough number 10 if he beat Clz UNconvincingly (decision). and b-hop at #3?

LOL, Calzaghe wins against the best LHW and goes up 3 places from 6th to 3rd. He loses and goes out of the top ten all together? And B Hop whom he beat goes to 3rd?
This is what I mean, already it's being taken out of context.
I see in your sig your favourite fighters are Roy, followed by BHop. Strange.

B-Hop at #3 but Calzaghe out of the picture huh?

Not denying it'd be massively impressive at all, it would.
Those that once over scrutinized and looked badly upon Calzaghes resume and p4p status, would suddenly alter there language to big up a win over Joe though.
That and the fact it's one fight, and the fact Roy wasn't massively impressive in his past 3 fights, questions such a sudden massive raise in his p4p off 1 surprise win. It's easy to get carried away because it's a surprise win. All I'm saying.
Yeah. they should have the RJ - Calzaghe Trilogy loll.. that would be an interesting rivalry if Jones won the first fight and calzaghe's ''0'' went.
i think it would have to do with a 39 yr old legend beating an undefeated champ of 10+ years

Yeh just think things like that underline the fact that p4p really is a non existent league and such a personal thing.
I mean if he won it'd be easy to say he'd be top 10, but a lot of that would be due to the massively increased surprises, impressiveness of him winning. It could also easily be a bad night for Joe.

#7 for LHW... not for top 10 p4p

Well believe it or not... its not 2004... tarver just beat clinton woods wh oisnt in the top 25.... and if roy were to beat joe, whose #2... it would mean a lot more than tarver has done
Clinton Woods is #7 in the Ring Ratings though, with Roy @ 6th.
But Tarver would still kick Roy's ass, right?
Hahahah i dont think so. we will have to see how Roy is against Clz. Tarver aint exactly Young either, and his entire legacy is because of Roy. he wouldnt want to destroy all that with a fourth match against Roy, which could possibly destroy everything he has acheived in his career.
