On October 15, 1998 baseball announcer Jack Buck uttered his now famous phrase, “I don’t believe what I just saw!” having witnessed Kirk Gibson’s impossible homerun off Dennis Eckersley to beat the mighty Oakland As 5-4 in game 1 of the World Series. Fast forward 20 years and 60 miles east to the inauguration of the WBC Legends of Boxing Museum where stunned spectators gasped, “I don’t believe what I just saw!” having watched bitter rivals Marco Antonio Barrera and Erik Morales embrace in a show of mutual respect.

Regardless, everyone knows we suck.
However it's sad how the Germans, Italians, South Americans, Dutch and several other stick it in you people's butts...............
Despite you having the most expensive teams in soccer.
hahahahahahahahahahhahaah money can't buy shit. In your case.
You have teams full of worthless, unproductive stars.

I agree. he's the evander Holyfield of the Feathers.
If he deserve it Espinosa deserve it also :) they had similar accomplishments imo.
not what the magazine said, but i'll look for that magazine
has pacquiao beat espinosa record for attendence?
no way. as you said that fight was a subsidy from the Philippine government.
theres some knowledgable boxing fans on this site that know of Elorde and Villa, no worry.
lol
you know...... sometimes you make talking to xcaret seem downright enjoyable.
ha ha ha
i'll argue with you another day , feroz. i'm getting sleeeeeeeeepy.........
between 6 to 8 thousand seats are for paying fans. they put a square barricade outside the ring. outside this barricade is for non paying fans.

too sarcastic? well i'm sorry if that bugs you. i'm not really the internet tough guy type. would you rather i start cursing you out? sorry that's not my style.
there were a lot of fighters from the philippines before pacquiao. hopefully there will be more after as well.
luisito is probably the best right before pacquiao. but obviously pancho and elorde was much greater than luisito. with your statement you made it seem like aside from pacquiao there was only luisito. luisito however as i stated was probably the best filipino fighter RIGHT before pacquiao not the best fighter before pacquiao.

you guys as in most pinoys that only show up for while, always being sarcastic and most the time i don't know when you're kidding or just talking shit, you guys are too damn sarcastic it becomes your behavior
Do you guys still hold the boxing record for most people to attend a boxing match? I know i have the ring issue that said you have hold the record but this record is not for a paying crowd, i recall the phillipine government payed to have a Louisito Espinosa fight in the phillipines and no one was charged to attend the fight and i think even the president attended the fight. Thats how big Louisito Espinosa was, thats my point before Pacquiao there as Espinosa, you aggree or disaggree? .
