I dont know if Pacman can just jump weight classes and beat hatton like you all think

I think Hatton would be to big and would hold and maul Pac to win.. But...WAR PAC MAN! PS-I think he should stick at 135 for a while, loads of good fights!

Lazcano a career lightweight with slow hands and ordinary power, was able to hurt Hatton at 140. Pac certainly has a good chance.

Hatton and Pacman going toe to toe may not be the best idea because hatton is actually pretty strong and manny wont have that size advantage, i also feel hatton is better than david diaz, who just stood there looking to get his ass handed to him. I am not sure this is the massacre for pacman everyone predicts. Nothing new in the life of Pacman... I remember when he moved up from 122 to fight Barrera. NOBODY, except pinoys, gave Pacquiao a shot... Pinoys that said pac was gonna win were ridiculed on the forums... Then when he won everybody gave him his props but said 130 was too big for him... Now he just beat a solid fighter who beat Judah, Morales("shot"), beat sta. cruz, knocked down jr. welterweight kendall holt, and fought and beat fighters at 147. So he is solid regardless of how low people put him. I don't know how he will do againts ricky, but I damn sure wouldnt say it can't be done.

Also whether Pacqiao can hurt Hatton, who has been in with much bigger guys. Even simpler: Will Pacqiao be credible at the weight? If he is he will beat Hatton easily IMO, he is much better than Ricky is, and where weight is not too much of an issue, class tells. However, I do have a feeling that this is a fight that Hatton would quite fancy his chances in and would be keen to make.

Lightweight is the hot division right now so I'd expect Manny to hang around a little longer. Perhaps he'd fight Hatton at 140 as a one-off as RH has hinted at retiring.

I am not sure this is the massacre for pacman everyone predicts. david diaz is the same size as hatton. david has about 17 fights at 140 and 147. please see video of pacquiao/diaz. juan lazcano is a more natural lightweight and not much of a power puncher. please see video of hatton/lazcano. ricky is better than david but by how much? david looked awful but do remember he was a u.s. olympian and he did beat zab judah in the amateurs twice so he's not completely devoid of skills. on the other hand manny is much better than lazcano as well and you can see he does have power at 135. make the fight happen , uncle bob!!!!!!

Pacquiao needs to clean out the 135lb. division before he can talk about moving to 140lbs. Why is that?
