Agreed look at them fighters there nothing like a morales or marquez. Me as a mexican and family members who loved boxing 4 generations. Don't see these guys as real mexicans. If u fight 4 the u.s. u aint a real mexican fighter. They are chicanos not mexican

What you guys don't understand, is they are raised by Mexican perants. Most of them don't start learning English until they start school. The only difference is they are financially better off than most Mexicans. They speak the same, they eat the same, and culturally they are mostly Mexican. 90% of all the Mexican Americans I've met, seemed to be more down for Mexico than the U.S. If you really know true Mexican Americans from areas with a lot of Mexicans and Mexican Americans, then you would realize there's no big difference at all. If you go talk to a Mexican American from an all white neighborhood, you'll see a big difference culturally.
So if you can't tick a box, you lose your identity?...AND, you're "plastic."
lol You're logic is flawless, I completely see what you're sayin...
how do u lose your indentity when u already have one "American "
A Brit tryin to say what a Mexican is or isn't????
lol Giiiit the fuck outta here. You could be Mexican, Irish, or Italian and be born in the states. You're still Mexican, Irish, or Italian. Granted alot of them get blended into the American poppulation, but alot don't.
yeah but u are only Mexican if u were born or raised in Mexico u if u dont tick either of those boxes u cant be Mexican can u
Their heritage and their ethnicity is a reminder to them everyday that they are mexican even if they are in the u.s.
American born and bred does not make u a Mexican in my book just because your parents are Mexican
your first allegiance should be to the place where u were born and raised yet it seems most of these Plastic Mexicans are Mexican first American second yet they are not even Mexican there parents are usually the Mexican ones
ok so everytime someone asks me what my ethnicity is im gonna tell em im half euro and half indio? :buttkick:
you can say you're mestizo if you want to be politically correct....
there Nationality stops them from being Mexicans u dope
Their heritage and their ethnicity is a reminder to them everyday that they are mexican even if they are in the u.s.
when Mexican-"americans" represent Mexico they mean they are representing their Mexican ethnicity not nationality
their ethnicity is mestizo a mixture of euro-indio their nationality is Mexican
