If Barrett loses to Tye Fields he was paid off...

Just two things about this post, how would you know someone is unwilling to accept a bribe? I am by no means saying Barrett would ever, but I've been shocked by charges levied against other fighters in the past. Unless you know a guy, you don't really know a guy. And two, why is the only way Fields could win this fight is if Barrett throws it? I think Fields can win just on size alone. Not saying he's amazing or that his size would be overwhelming for other ranked heavyweights, but Fields has the kind of opponent in Barrett who might be ready for picking. Don't forget, just a year ago Barrett was taken out in two rounds by Cliff Couser. I know boxing pretty good and size alone does not mean shit as evidenced...

Monte Barret is the illegitimate son of Tye Fields from Tye's virgin wife Tyneesha. Monte has never been in the ring with the likes of a Tye "Your Dog To A Tree" Fields. Fields will pull a matrix and multiply in the ring confusing Barret, then will knock Barret the F**K out in never before seen fashion. Barret has already been beaten by Tye, you will only be witnessing the re-play in normal time. :boxing:

I don't think Barret will lose.

It's weird to think that his two in a row wins over Dominick Guinn and Owen Beck were enough to catapult him over his former conqueror Wladimir Klitschko in Ring Magazine's ratings at one point. Barrett has a hard time with bigger fighters like Valuev and Klitschko, he couldn't deal with the size difference and in both fights didn't really seem to have a game plan. Then he let his friendship get in the way during the Barrett fight and has been through a lot of wars. I'd say Barrett is a good enough calculated gamble for Top Rank, he's a name fighter clearly on the slide who saw an opportunity in it for himself as well. I'd go with Fields just because the momentum in his career is for him, but Barrett has fought well with guys who would KO Fields.
