Hell the HBO team only had Hopkins win 4 rounds.
the HBO team dont know thier head from thier arse
they had Calzaghe 2/3 rounds ahead of the British commentators during the Kessler fight
we know Mercahnt and Lampley are biased as hell and let personal feeling edge their scorecards look at the Castillo v PBF fight

Incredible. Where were all of you 'Pro Hopkins' guys when immediately after the fight a poll was put up showing that something like 80% of Boxingscene users thought that Calzaghe won the fight.
I really can't see how people can say Hopkins won. First four or five rounds he may have been on top but he just tired and ended up hugging the rest of the fight.
It was close, but clearly Joe Calzaghe rightly got his win.
Besides, Hopkins needed to take about a ten minute time out for that "low blow". :pat:
Hopkins was nowhere near active enough to win that fight, he made Calzaghe look terrible but that is no grounds to win a fight. Calzaghe won that fight by 3-4 rounds Hopkins hit a barrier at round 3 and won maybe 2 rounds afterwards if were being generous.
Any unbiased person would have scored the fight for Calzaghe. Hopkins won no more than 4 rounds in the fight and he got a knockdown, so the best he could have got was a loss by a 115-112 score.
u have good point because allthough the punch stats favour Calz they dont factor the 10 /8 round into the equation
so that argument that the punch stats prove who won the fight is futile IMO

Both fights were close. I wouldn't say it was a robbery either way. Floyd may've edged it Castillo, and I thought Hopkins did enough to beat Calzaghe. They could've gone either way though.
They both were god awful, but Calzaghe's I guess would be somewhat closer. I think Mayweather won the Castillo fight with a good arguement for him, while I think Hopkins beat Calzaghe, it's a lot easier to explain why Calzaghe beats Hopkins unlike Castillo beating Mayweather.
Granted I thought Mayweather-Castillo could have potentially gone to Castillo, I think the decision was correct.
I thought Castillo beat PBF, and I had that opinion when it 1st happened, not just since it's become popular to bash him the last year or 2. But fair is fair and PBF beat him the 2nd time. Either guy coulda won closely in Joe C v B-Hop, but if I had to pick I'd say Hopkins. I hate 'nothin' punches bein enough to take a world title away.
Joe C beat hopkins, and thats from a big fuckin hopkins fan n a guy who hates Joe, id rather see anyone win than joe!
But makin a guy look bad does not mean u win the fight, it means you made a guy look bad
Hopkins just didn't do anywhere near enough to win that fight. Making the either guy look terrible is not on its own grounds for winning a fight.
I scored Mayweather-Castillo to Floyd by 1 round. It was close though and could have gone either way.
