I think the only person that could give kelly pavlik fits is jermain taylor, and he tried twice and failed, for the simple fact he has the power to hurt pavlik, i don't seen anybody from 168 on down who can beat Pavlik, he's a big middleweight and would destroy anybody who attempted to move up in weight from 154
Definitely Kessler and I would also say Librado Andrade for his ability to take and dish out punishment. He might be able to test Pavlik's heart when there's somebody standing in front of him who takes his best shots and keeps coming forward.
I can come up with a list of people I think have a shot but if I were to bet I would never bet against Pavlik:
1)Winky Wright
2)Joe Calzaghe
3)Carl Froch
4)Mikkel Kessler
5)Felix Trinidad
6)Oscar De La Hoya
7)James Kirkland
8)Allan Green
9)Paul Williams
10)Sergio Mora
11)Marco Antonio Rubio
I don't really believe any of them can beat them but those are all good candidiates outside Mora and Rubio, I am very interested in a Pavlik/Froch or a Pavlik/Kirkland!!!!
I don't think Kessler would beat Pavlik but it would be a good fight. I'd like to see AA fight Pavlik though, seems like a fight of the year match up...

Arthur Abraham
How on earth can Kessler have any chance of beating Pavlik. He lost to Calzaghe, his greatest win was over Mundine who is a bum. He doesn’t even deserve a shot at Pavlik.
Kessler is a recent two belt world title holder who's only loss is to the guy ranked #2 p4p in the world. You figure it out.

Should Kessler fight Pavlik I'd be happy to relieve you of your points.
Jeff Lacy, Winky Wright, B-hop, Abraham, Mikkel Kessler, Bute, and maybe Andrade(guy has a helluva punch). BTW the names aren't in any kind of specific order.
Kessler would win an easy decision. Maybe even a late KO. Abraham has a shot against anybody with that sick power. He will not be able to win by decision though.
And of course JoeC if he came down to 168 which is unlikely though.
Maybe even Felix Sturm if he can find the form he had when he (should have) defeated DLH.
Not sure I can back your Sturm suggestion- but I do think Kessler and Abraham could both most likely beat Pavlik. The thing is, I don't necessarily agree with the people who think you need to have a ton of power to beat Pavlik. All that's needed is enough to keep him honest and the speed to out box him if you ask me.
not sure about abraham. in all honesty the only time i've seen him fight were his 2 fights with miranda, but he wasn't overly active and was somewhat sloppy. overall abraham just didn't show me the skills to beat pavlik. to beat pavlik you need to be more active.
winky... i don't think so. again not active enough and pavlik's punches would definitely get through that 'binoculars' defense.
kessler has a much better shot. good power, good jab, good work-rate.
Abraham has been beating good fighters for a while. AA fans won't overrate the Miranda win. But don't blow up Pav's win over Taylor either because Taylor has no inside fight game. He was overrated as well.
yeah arthur has been beating good fighters for awhile!!!! exactly who is that? than your gonna discount a win over taylor! ok, sure, great logic.
