BoxingScene is an Online Community
As you guys Know, I am trademark name on BoxingScene for my Threads,Posts, and Persona. I have been through it all on here.Countless Arguments, Continuous Battles with the Opposition, Legendary Flame Wars, and Famous Rivalries.
With that said, We all know that this is the INTERNET, and it is separate from all of our real lives and it is not that serious and just for fun. The reality of the situation is that Most of us have jobs, families, and some of us go to school. And That is just a reality of the situation for all of us. We all come from different Backgrounds.Separate From what we do with our real life obligations. But it is our Freetime is what brings us together
And with that Free Time, Some people are Video Gamers,Sports Clubs members,Professional Bloggers, and apart of recreational teams or projects. All of those things have one thing in common, and that is that each of them are a community of people coming together to do something they are all interested in. And Boxingscene is no different.
Let's not fool ourselves and try to say BOXINGSCENE is not apart of our lives. Just as Video Gamers,Sports Clubs members,Professional Bloggers dont fool themselves and say it is not apart of their lives. BoxingScene is an Online Community in which it's members
come from all places, to come and talk about boxing and etc.
And with each community, they are groups, notably personalities, and order.
BoxingScene is no different. We have groups, notably personalities, and order.
So I write this commonly known truth about us, to pose these question:
How do you know when you have taken BOXINGSCENE conflicts Personal.??
And Is it ok to take BOXINGSCENE conflicts Personal and beyond jokes and ridicule..???
Anyone who takes ANY message board serious should truthfully seek something called...A GIRL.
I like to see people's opinions on different fights being made and what not and it's funny to see people take their fighters so seriously. Like, I'm a Cotto fan, but I'm not gonna drop dead if he loses again. It's Boxing, shit happens sometimes.
But the dudes who run multiple "ALTs" really have no life or are just kids (which I've noticed some really are here lol)
Shit is jokes and informative at the same time, pretty much exactly what the Internet in all is.
So whats with the Sig if its not too serious?
and why you spend so much time prettying up your posts?
why are your posts so long winded?
not challenging you little diatribe (because I didn't bother reading it) just curious.
i know lol...
Dude in all seriousness, 90% of my time on here i just like fu%king with people.
And I am really being serious...
I have 3 close friends in real life who are also on this site can tell
you how much of a joke we think this is....lol
but it is fun..,i cant lie....and kind of addicting ...like video games.
That why I post alot of Floyd threads, because they are the most entertaining....am i wrong??
But at the end of the day, people need to realize that this site is meant for entertainment...and should treat it as such.
because I do
bumping bumped bumper
C'mon, dude. You can't blame Nate's folks for defending him in that other thread.
i know lol...

No, I don't know why people take the internet so seriously.
I also don't understand why people take being a fan of certain fighters (or athletes) so seriously. Being a fan and enjoying sports is one thing. To the point where it's hero worship and people are blindly defending someone (who most likely they have never met in their lives) is another thing. Grown men hero-worshipping athletes.
I don't get it.
personal? no why should it be personal I know very few of you personally.
serious? why not this is the sport we love. I am always down to debate something in a serious manner and in the end either come out learning something or feeling good that I got my points across
No because everyone on here is much braver behind a keyboard then they would ever be in person. You are dealing with a group of internet tough guys on here. No person should ever take it personal. But it is funny for the rest of us to read.
Never!
No you shouldn't take any of this personal. I cant stand when a "sensitive pussy" that complains about everything ruins a thread by trying to be the "bitch police". This is to debate and listen to others "opinions" on fighters and boxing as a whole. I don't come on here to convince others that my FAVORITE LIST should be there's too. I just debate and argue about different topics all for fun. Sometimes I even learn a thing or two.
If you take what people say personal than you have major issues. It probably just means you are insecure about yourself and the real question is, should you be on this site rather than at the docs office discussing the real issues in your life?
I come to this site because I find it fun and entertaining, especially debating/arguing with the JOE CALZAGHE FANS. They are the best! lol.. But its all in fun and I hope no one gets there panties dirty because of some comments that are typed on a keyboard.
Yes italian...
thats right my youth the whole internet scene is a part of mans lifes
theres myspace, facebook etc etc.. people spend hours upon hours on the net..
I believe mattering on the situation its okay to take it personal...
not just regular everyday conversations but when things get heated up and turned personal.
a lot of it is just boxing opinions conflicting and in the lounge some flame wars but i've seen where people take the flaming too far and it becomes personal...
or look at the zelenoff/claudio thing that was going on?
you shouldnt take 95% of anything here personal...
i agree with horus that boxingscene would have to be considered apart of your life considering some here do an average of 25+ posts a day...and those posts take time...not just one liners...real detailed thoughts.
