People can say what they like about Hayes chin, but this is a different fight.. I think the main thing is that Klistchko needs to face an opponent like Haye to be more convincing.. Boring points victories over guys like Ibragimov isn't going to get him many more fans that he already has.. Whatever happens, Haye will push Wlad to the limit..
Wlad has a better chin than you believe. It isn't great, but he wouldn't be stopped by a 40 year old light heavyweight like Haye was, or knocked down twice by a super middleweight journeyman (Mock).
Wlad has an average chin. Only a strong heavyweight can put him down.
Haye has a very weak chin. Small men like Mock and Thompson have had him on the canvas.
Good Post, I agree 100%.
It shouldn't take that long for him to get used to his new weight. I think he just wants the summer off, perhaps to have sex with another few dozen men and women.
Watch, he'll go after some old, shot fighter like Maskaev or Toney (if he loses to Rahman) for his fight on Nov 29.
:rofl::rofl:
Yeah, I bet he'll fight Maskaev then there'll be the hype for Haye VS the winner of the Toney - Rahman fight. At least that way he'd have faced 2 former world champions which is what Haye needs to be doing. Haye is so athletic though, and apart from Klistchko all the other heavyweights like Toney, Chagaev, Peter and Maskaev look like they have apauling health..
You've got it wrong, Haye's quite a modest guy really, yet he has to hype himself, who doesn't? He's just extremely well spoken and knows how to handle PR. He's already destoryed Enzo Macarinelli, unified the World cruiserweight division and is a more exciting fighter than all of the heavyweight titlists put together, including Wlad..
If Haye beats the winner of the Toney - Rahman fight, then Haye definiely deserves that shot, especially if Klistchko beats his mandatorys. Try to remember that Haye's ranked 5th in the WBC rankings which is enough to fight guys like Sam Peter for the WBC version of the World title, but he'd rather risk it all for the big fight with Klitschko. You can't not respect Haye, he doesn't dodge anyone and puts it on the line in electric fights. What's most exciting about the potential of this fight is both guys chins have been suspect in the past and their styles are different, Wlad's defensive where Haye will be quick and throw bombs. Wlad may actually be challenged and forced to box for once in his life, unlike Ibragimov where they just clapped hands for the entire match until Klitschko won the points decision..
Klitschko has no chin and if he feels Haye's power, then he would be staring at the ceiling. You can really tell that a fighter's chin is weak when he even sees the punch coming and is till effected by it. Haye also has a weak jaw, which makes this fight so intruging. Either fighter will be knocked out if the other tastes the other power. What has the heavyweight division come to? In the old days, you have two power punchers that could feel the other's power for the full 12 rounds. :nonono:
Sweet
.....Is this fucker ever going to schedule a heavyweight fight? Does he just plan to talk a load of shit and never actually fight at heavy. Was it all intended to get one mega pay day and if it doesn't materialize will he never fight at heavy?
To be honest.. The heavyweight division needs someone like Haye..
Its complete shit, I don't even watch it..
But Haye is doing the right thing, hyping himself, getting exposure and it will be a big event.. I wish him the best of luck.. The guy is comedy..
I hope he beats Wlad, but I don't see it happening.
Lets see how he does against a top heavy, then I'll judge.
I ve seen this before but still good :)
I like Haye's attitude, i hated the guy when i first saw him a few years ago, he just seemed cocky! but hes really willing to risk it and fight the best, how can u not respect a guy like that? :boxing:
