Cotto was a lucky man against Torres thats for sure, on many occasions you see fighters in far less trouble get saved by the Ref, see Corley! Reffing in both fights was biased to say the least.

If you know the rules a boxer is considered down if you are hit and you use the ropes to keep you up or if you're going down and are holding on to the opponent. Blatent push, but if you want to call it a knockdown you could almost score that round 10-7. Cotto showed a great chin in that fight, because he took some FUCKING HARD punches. He ate Torres' full array. He was rocked in the 1st and second by hooks and right hands, he ate some good body shots, and then was rocked by that massive combination punctuated by an uppercut in round 5. Its a great fight, and its been over for three years, dont ruin it by complaining about a minor thing which is obviously not true.
