Thoughts? Their both big punchers and if Hatton would be willing to go up to WW again I think it would be an interesting match up.
Hatton would get KO'd quickly. Hatton cant fight at welter. Hes only capable of being a good fighter at 140. Prety much like Marg cant fight JMW, hes only capable of being a good fighter at 147
Hatton is a junior welterweight with the height and reach of a featherweight. Margarito could be a middleweight.
Ridiculous idea which will never happen.
Hatton would get beaten to a pulp, he is a bully type fighter who likes to rough individuals up on the inside. Margarito would take his punches and give more back. Even though I think Floyd is better than Margarito I think Margarito would dust Hatton off faster.
This one's a no brainer - Margarito just too big.
Probably be a lot of fun for the first 3 or 4 rounds, but doubt it would last past 8, with Hatton taking a lot of punishment.
Tough guy, so he'd take it for a while, but size really does matter.
Tony has a good chin. But nobody has "good ribs".. .Lemme ask you: has anybody ever really gone to Tony's body the way Ricky can go to the body?
I knew that Hatton wouldn't land body shots on FMJ. Ricky is not in Floyd's class and does not belong in that ring. But Tony has atrocious defense. What if Ricky lands that left hook?
margo counter with a left upper and its over!!:boxing:
err think about this:
if floyd can stop ricky.....imagine what tony would do with hatton....
but seriously i see a KO 1 for margarito, hattons chin is shit and tony's style is all wrong for hatton, he would just be a meatbag for tony.......think frazier vs foreman and you have an idea of what would happen
Hatton gets hit alot because of his fighting style, if his chin was shit he would have more than 1 loss. Margarito would KO Hatton though
Margarito would KO him out, if Mayweather who is not a big puncher knocked him out with a lucky punch, Margarito would slaughter him. And by the way Hatton is no good at Welterweight so it would be an error for Hatton to go up.
lol @ landing the same punch over and over again being "lucky"
