VOTE, was tyson holyfield's greatest win

Personally I think if Tyson was really in his prime he would've absolutely dominated Ruddock, early KO. The belts he won weren't exactly off stellar titleholders. Bowe when he got beat by Golata had self destructed, when he fought Holyfield he hadn't . He seld detructed faster than Tyson but he was in his prime when he fought Evander. Tyson was given a good beating from Holyfield, I didn't say he was dominated but Evander didn't really have all that much trouble with him. I say it wa sa rather easy CONSIDERING everyone expected Evander to get destroyed at the time. If Evander had beaten Tyson at say the time when Tyson beat Holmes then it would be his greatest win, Tyson in his prime was a better fighter than Bowe but Tyson when he fought Holyfield wasn't as good as the Bowe that fought Holyfield. It's my own opinion I think Tyson was done at the time, i'm not slating you for you opinion I can understand why you'd think Tyson was his best win but personally I don't think it is. fair enough, i respect every fact that you have provided, and with the way you put it i might change my view on this. but tyson was a bigger name with more credentials than bowe

okay first 90% of what you said is wrong. here's why i love how people say that holyfield dominated tyson and beat him at his own game. when if you watch the tape you can clearly see that tyson is doing very well in the early parts of the fight, and holyfield is fighting smart and grabbing mike, and grabbin him often. lewis, and douglas dominated tyson, holyfield did not. but he did give him a good beating second if tyson's career was over after douglas he wouldnt have come back and give his 2 memorable perfomances again razor ruddock. if tyson was done he wouldnt have been able to win belts after 4 years of inactivity. this wasnt prime tyson, but it was not quite the tyson that fought lennox lewis either, who by then was clearly done bowe was beaten by golota like a dog, TWICE. did you see that tyson did to andrew, and mind you this was during the period when mike was stoned. not in the fight obviously, but it was the time in his life when he was experimenting with drugs. i figure you for another tyson hater bowe was already in decline when he was finishing up the trilogy with holyfield Personally I think if Tyson was really in his prime he would've absolutely dominated Ruddock, early KO. I think it's a valid opinion too, it was clear to me that Bowe had much more left in the tank when he fought Holyfield than Tyson did, Bowe was also 6'5", 240 lbs. Both were great wins for Holyfield although the win over Tyson probably cemented his spot as a top heavyweight. Not because Tyson was at his best by that point of his career but because there was so much hype around him and Holyfield looked like he was done.

Tyson was gone by the time he fought Holyfield and the manner in which he beat him was particularly easy, the 3 fights with Bowe proved Holyfield could overcome versatility. Bowe HADN'T self-destructed when he fought Holyfield, Tyson's career as a great heavyweight was over when Douglas beat him. Although Douglas had weighed in at higher weights during other points in his career, he clearly was not in the stellar shape he was in to fight Tyson. Buster was in the shape of his life for Tyson. For Holyfield he elected to train at McDonalds and Burger King. that's one thing Jimmy Boy, the biggest tyson hater, refuses to aknowledge
